Kitty's Book Spot!

This is book #5, on the Oxford series.   This book can be read as a standalone novel.  To avoid spoilers, and enjoy this amazing series, I recommend reading this in order. Brit and Hunter are best friends.  They work together, and he is her boss, technically.  They make a great team.  So he is the ideal man to ask why everyone friend zones her instead of wants to date her seriously. Hunter has recently noticed Brit as a woman and more than a friend.  Her asking him to teach her seduction is apparently working too well.  Now he has to figure out how to help his best friend without hurting her and their friendship on the way. This was a great end to an incredible series!  I love this author, and all her works.  Always worth reading.  This book was a great fast pace, with some serious humor and side order of heat.  I absolutely adored reading about this couple falling in love.  I give this a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

Isaac meets Logan at Christmas, as his sister's boyfriend.  Talk about your forbidden choices.  He will just have to put what he wants aside.  He does not believe he is worthy of a great relationship. Logan has no problem telling Isaac he wants him.  He is only doing a friend a favor.  Their attraction is obvious to anyone who looks at them together.   The characters had an obvious connection.  The sparks definitely fly around them being together.  Very realistic, with a slower pace than I expected.  I give this a 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This ARC copy was given in exchange for an honest review only, by Netgalley and its publishers.

Abigail AKA Abby meets Caleb at one of her most embarrassing moments.  He never lets her forget it either.  Why would she be attracted to someone so mean?  He had a lot in common with her, that's why. Caleb cannot believe his eyes when Abby comes out the window of the house next door.  Nearly killing herself, he jumps in and rescues the damsel in distress.  Finding out she can hold her own with him, only makes her more attractive.   This was an amazing series and this story was no exception.  I love all the books I have read by this author.  She is a must click when it comes to purchasing books.  This was a fun and hot read.  The sparks, and the fun friendships, it just is all totaled up in a great story.  I give this a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This copy

Kellan was forced out of his own life, due to his brother's crimes.  Now he has to create a new one.  He also has to avoid the woman who helped him start over. Delaney's attraction to Kellan was instant.  The feeling is also mutual.  Her career is over if she gives in to it.  The heart wants what the heart wants.  Hopefully they can find middle ground before this causes them to combust. Cecelia & Matthew met under less than ideal circumstances.  Now, with the tension between them obvious to anyone nearby, Cecelia is basically outnumbered.  She just needs to lean to trust him and maybe there is something there. Matthew has found Cecelia a hot woman since they met.  He has done everything to basically get her attention - both good and bad.  He wants a real future, so now he is giving it his all. This was such a great addition to the  series !  I loved and devoured each page.  Is a really great series with characters that are fun to read about.  Their stories are very humorous and heartfelt.  I give this book a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This copy was given in exchange for an honest review only.

Reed has to come home due to tragedy.  While there he catches up with old friends, and Delaney.  They have sparks between them that causes both good and bad. Delaney and Reed have known one another basically their whole lives.  This attraction between them is new.  The heat is growing and they run into one another everywhere.   This was such a slow burn.  The heat just builds between the characters until they are nearly scorched from it.  I love the banter, and this  series  just has the most amazing people in it to read about.  I give this book a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ****This early copy was given in exchange for an honest review only.
