Another man has my forever, and I have hockey. I thought making the big bucks and playing against the best in the world would feel better than this. Instead, I'm empty and hollow, like a big piece of my heart was hacked off. There's something missing. Something big. Something I can never get back.   Caroline:   I loved him, but he wasn't the love of my life.   My husband died too young, too suddenly, too tragically. I was unprepared with no education, no job skills, and no future plans. When a ...

My priorities were instilled in me early on—family and football. Those ideals led me to TGU and a coach whose ironclad principles mirrored my own. With one last college season to play, my goal was singular—get drafted. By realizing my NFL dream, I could save my family, our ranch, and the only home I’d ever known. Two birds, one ball. Playing hard was my only option, but there’s always a wild card. For all of my planning and hard work, I never anticipated falling for the coach's daughter. Harper was a fair catch, but who knew l...

Easton knows he is missing something. He can feel his life is off.  He should be elated to be part of a great NHL team, and instead he is wondering what if.  Then he gets the bombshell of his life. Caroline is scared out of her mind to see Easton again.  She has to give up a part of herself and it already hurts.  The memories still haunt her when she thinks of them.  Can they learn to put the past behind them for the greater good? This book is one of the reasons why I keep reading all that this author has to offer.  Such deep and emotion filled characters that are a joy to read.  With a rich and interesting storyline this is a good read.  I give this a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This early copy was given in exchange for an honest review only.

This is book #2, in the Girls Of Summer series.   This book can be read as a standalone novel.  To avoid spoilers, and to completely understand the series, I recommend reading these in order. Rachel is ok with being set up on a blind date.  She is used to coming in second.  She is used to being the backup.  When she explains this to Adam, however, he proposes something different that she knows will end up the same. Adam is ready for a change.  Or is he?  His ex is always near and he needs to really be done with her.  Maybe being with Rachel is the answer.  Can he be who she needs when it is a critical time for her? This book felt like a slow burn.  It took a bit for me to feel like it got started.  I was patient since I really loved the first book in this  amazing series ,  There were little cameos of the characters I had already come to love.  I cannot wait for the next installment.  I like the w...

This is book #2, in the Dirty Martini Running Club series.   This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader understanding, and to avoid spoilers, I recommend reading this sexy series in order. Hazel finds out not long after taking a new position at a new location, that her nemesis is speaking there as well.  Now she is second guessing her choice to change employers.  Then she gets to know the man she thinks of as her enemy.  Or does she? Corban has an equal hate for Hazel.  Now he has a face and body to put to the name.  If only he wasn't outrageously attracted to the enemy.  He wants to kiss her right?  Or does he want to make her mad?  He cannot decide.  Is is possible to want both? I am going to be completely honest here.  I usually hate the trope of enemies to lovers.  I really have not been a fan.  This particular story was much anticipated, so I am not sure if that played a part.  Al...

This book is a short story addition to the Billionaire Bad Boys series.   This book should not be read until after  Going Down Easy .  For a complete understanding of the series, and to avoid spoilers, I recommend reading this after the incredible  Billionaire Bad Boys series . Kaden just wants time to be with his special woman.  His wife, his everything, and he wants to reconnect.  The day of love everywhere seems like the perfect time. Lexie was excited to have time alone with her special man.  Then a surprise interrupts their travel.  Should she tell him or wait until they get home? This story was short, hot, and sexy.  This series is such a hot trip.  I loved returning to this couple, and so grateful I got a peek into where they are now.  I give this read a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This early copy was given in exchange for an honest review. If you missed the review for when this couple got their start in...

Victoria AKA "Vic" is gonna play baseball.  Who cares if it is a male dominated sport.  She signed up, showed up, and played hard.  She is gonna prove herself if it kills her. Daniel knows she has a boyfriend, but he also knows the guy is a tool.  He cannot help but be interested in a girl who knows her own mind.  She can play baseball, and is a great addition to the team. This book felt like is was fast paced.  I love the characters and eagerly devoured each page.  I felt like this book was a great read.  The story was rich, the characters fun to read, and the heat was just gentle.  I cannot wait to read the next installment!  I give this a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

This is book #2, in the Mile High Happiness series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  To avoid spoilers, and to really understand the series, I recommend reading these in order. Lilly is not known to have a one night stand.  When she does actually indulge, she feels free and like it was the right thing to do.  Later, she finds she is going to run in to Lincoln repeatedly.   Lincoln is glad to see Lilly again.  He was wondering what made her leave without any clue.  When they seem to be running into each other all the time, he hopes he can convince her to give them another shot.  Or will he be friend zoned? Such a steamy and fun story!  I loved each and every page in the time I was reading this book.  There was humor, and sexy times, and so much unexpected.  I found myself cringing or laughing out loud.  I really hope we see these characters again, they are a great pair.  We also got to see ...
