Mad without you

Set in the Fall Away series as book # 1.5, Until You is the story told by Jared.  In the first book of the series, Bully, you read from Tatum's point of you for the same story.  The author made it so we can read both without feeling horrible and it is nice.

Jared's point of view is very rigid.  He starts the book about telling you how much he hates his life and the only thing he lives for - the bright light for him - is Tatum (Tate).  They used to be best friends, after she moved in next door when they were 10 years old.  Now, he lives to torment her.  He does not believe he is worthy of love so he gets what he thinks he deserves, her anger.

Tate, to her credit, still wants to help him.  She is away studying in Europe for a year, and after she comes back a stronger Tate takes control of her life.  She confronts Jared about his absurd behavior and they have it out, sort of.  Too bad they still find each other HOT!

I do not want to give too much away.  It really is a great book with a solid story and the series continues from here with the next installment, Rival.  This book is great since it has strong lead characters and really fun secondary characters.  It is like being in high school all over again.  I give it a 5/5 Kitty's Paws UP!
