Good start to the series!

Ella Wade hates her job working for a scandal rag.  But a job is a job.  Until her boss wants her to go hunting a couple that is hiding in Hawaii.

Next thing she knows, her boss is calling her with tragic news.  Her stepsister is dead.  He wants her to cover the story, since she is family and may be able to get the information before the media can.

While covering the story, she follows a local detective around.  Looking into her stepsisters life, she finds there is a lot she does not know.  Then she runs into him.

Jaxon Cole is the guy her stepsister was seeing, or not seeing?  Ella is just trying to cope with the loss, do her job, get in, get out, etc.  Jaxon makes it seem like he knows more.  Can Ella trust him?  He tells her to call.... but would you?

Interesting and charming start to the series.  I cannot wait for he next installment in the Scandal series, Part Two is out now!  I give this story a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!
