Awkward

This is book #3, in the Cotton Creek series.  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment and understanding of the series, I recommend reading in order.

Adam visits a real dude ranch for research on the new game he and his partners are making.  When he finds himself alone with the owner, Skye, he is glad he has her to himself.  The heat between them sparks right away and they have to decide if they are going to act upon it.

Skye is a single mother with a lot going on.  She is proud of the life she has created for her family.  Meeting Adam turns everything upside down, as she is feeling the heat when he is near.  

This story was filled with serious sparks flying and jokes flowing.  The lead characters made me a bit crazy as I kind of wanted to knock some sense into them.  I enjoyed the pace, and was pleased with the plot.  I loved all the pop culture jokes as well.  I give this book a 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP!
