This is the 2nd book in the Hometown Players series.  It can be read as a standalone, but for reader benefit, it is better to be read in the order intended.

Luc Richard and Rose Caplan have been friends for so long.  Luc always has her back, since she had his at a crucial time.  Now years later, she wants to be more than friends.

Rose is sick of being considered the good one.  The reliable one.  For just once, she wishes to be "The One."  She wants Luc to notice her as a woman and not a friend.

Luc has always been attracted to Rose.  He just never wanted to overstep his bounds and ruin their friendship.  He chose to be her buddy over a one night stand.  Now he is thinking naughty thoughts about her and cannot seem to stop.

Rose has always wanted Luc.  She hates that even when mad at him her body reacts to his.  She starts to do things out of the ordinary to get his attention.  So far, it is working.

I really enjoy reading this series!  The characters have so much to them.  The rich and sincere stories just make you have the feels.  The other characters we love from the first book are here too.  I give this story a 5/5 Kitty's Paws UP!
