Change is Difficult

Chelsea goes out with a friend from work to hear Country Music.  She loves it, but her husband does not.  In fact, there is a lot they no longer have in common.  It may be time to let him go.  She is thinking this through as she arrives to hear the music.

One Chance Night (Make A Change Book 1) - Eliza BoydWhile at the bar in Chicago, she meets Brett.  He plays the guitar like a pro and has a duo with Ian that blows the public away.  When he is not performing, he is talking to Chelsea and her friends.  She finds that he is just as attracted to her as she is to him.  Can she tell him the truth?

When she goes outside and talks to Brett - he helps her see that in a real relationship, there should be more.  She should feel cherished, loved, special.  It is her birthday and her own husband didn't remember!  She has felt so good being out with Brett and Steve.

Decision made, Chelsea goes home to confront the man who is supposed to love her.  They have it out and she tries to move on.  Time passes and her life changes.  She also changes.  It is 8 long months before she sees Brett again.

This story is so incredible!  It kind of sneaks up on you... and you never see it coming.  The characters have good development, they talk sweet and sexy, the food makes me hungry, and the new friends are loyal.  Everything you can ask for if you have found yourself in a rut and not sure what to do.  Abuse comes in many forms, and in this book we see that the scars are not always visible.  Impressed, I give this book 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!
