Penalty for love?

Henrik Grenick meets Jacqui Polson at the music store where she works.  They are both immediately attracted to one another.  He is having an off night, and was looking to maybe buy a new guitar.  Jacqui is so busy with school and work that she has no time for men, anyway.

Penalty Play (Power Play Book 3) - Lynda AicherHenrik talks her into meeting him for lunch and a friendship forms.  They have quite a bit in common, mainly music.  She has 4 older brothers who love hockey, so even though she does not recognize him, she still understands the demands of the game.  After lunch, she takes him to the college practice room and they play together.

They become more than friends quickly.  And soon become so much more than that.  Jacqui is determined to have him when she wants.  The chemistry between them is explosive right from the start.  Henrik is angry about this at first.  He wants more from her and with her.

Jacqui has secrets that can destroy their relationship.  She is not sure she wants to be close to him because of the secrets she carries.  Henrik is not sure how to keep her close, when he can feel her drawing away.  Can love conquer all?

This story was so moving and sweet.  Yet there is a side of HOT also.  I love this about the Power Play series.  We are reading about strong, alpha type men who love fully.  This is book 3 in the series and it is so good!  I give this book a 5/5 Kitty's Paws UP!
