This book is #6, in the Shots On Goal series .  It is intended to be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment and to avoid spoilers, I would read this series in order. Sean has a rough job.  Good thing he has amazing friends.  When he gets a new partner, the last thing he expects to be is attracted and have feelings for her.  He knows if he acts on those feelings, they will be separated. Jessica is excited to have such a great partner.  He respects her, and even invited her to meet his friends.  Only one problem - she is attracted to him.  She can never act on it unless she wants to get a new partner. This book moves at such a fast pace!  I found myself confused as to the arrangement of it at some times.  I think the series as a whole will put more perspective on what I felt I missed.  There is lots of good humor, friendship, and even sexy times.  I look forward to finishing the rest of the series to come.  I give this book a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This

This book is #9 in the Game On In Seattle series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment and understanding, I recommend reading this series in order. Matt has so much on his plate right now.  He is trying to get into the playoffs with his team, he has an ex trying to con him for money, he has no nanny for his boys, and the boys themselves are a handful.  All he needs is to be attracted to the woman who is wrong for him.   Violet has a past full of secrets.  She is not real good around kids.  Matt puts her body on fire, so she wants a chance at a non-relationship with him.  If he can stop fighting and just give in..... This story was a good read.  It has characters we love making cameo appearances too.  While it did feel like it was a bit rushed to me, I loved that the characters had excellent banter.  The overall pace was good, and there is such sexy humor you cannot help but love this series.  I give this story 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

While this feels to some extent like a coming of age novel, there is a true element within of real love and how it stands the test of time.  I had moments where I wanted to scream, but each page definitely gave me feels - one way, or another.  These characters were a good example of why I read romance.  Love exists, and comes to those who wait.  I give this book a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This copy was given in exchange for an honest review.

Emily has been through so much in the past.  She is actually surprised to find herself attracted to Jasper in the first place.  With her future looking uncertain, she is cautious in her reaction to him. Jasper is made of protective alpha male.  Even if he didn't work in a dangerous field, he would always want to serve and protect.  Now that he needs to protect Emily, his chance with her has arrived.  Now, if only he can convince her. This is book #2, in the Chicago Rebels series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment, and to avoid spoilers, I recommend reading this series in order. Isobel has a history with Vadim.  An incredibly complex history, that makes it hard for Isobel to even confide in her sisters about it.  Suddenly she has to work with him again, since he is on their team.  Will the past and future secrets that they share ruin all the progress? Vadim has not realized that he was missing Isobel until he saw her again.  Now he realizes just what he needs.  He just has to come up with a plan.  If the secrets of their pasts come to light - can they still have a future? Such an incredible series!  I love that each and every character is so different.  These are really complex and interesting MC's that take us through it all.  I could not put this book down.  Engaging in many forms and filled with surprises, this was a great read.  I give this story a 4/5 Kitty

This is book #10, and the final story in the THIRDS series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel, but why miss all the action and fun?  There is another series soon on the horizon.... you won't want to miss that one either! Sloane & Dex are finally tying the knot.  Not before taking care of yet another terrorist problem.  While their team steps up for one more time together of getting the bad guy, the future Daley's have a lot coming at them.  Wedding plans, family, work, secrets, and so much more. Dex is ready to marry the love of his life.  Only there are a just a few more surprises in store for him.  Sloane has no jitters at all, as he is excited to finally have his man be really his. As more of the story unfolds, we get insight as to the next books sure to come. I will be sad to see this series put to bed.  These characters are so much a part of me now as I re-read them over and over.  I was so pleased to get this latest and final edition that gave

Finn is stunned to meet Chess.  First by her name, then by her talent, and later just by her fabulous self.  They are both attracted to one another immediately, but have busy lives and demanding careers. Chess is stunned to find herself interested in the most popular football player in her hometown.  She further surprises herself with becoming his friend.  Is it actually possible to find something in common with a jock? While this series  often has me on my knees, this story had yanked at my heart.  Mostly as a simultaneous story to  The Game Plan  - it makes for an interesting way to read the interacting story lines.  I love the characters.  I found the real heart wrenching struggle, and the honest way these main love birds treat and talk to each other refreshing.  Another one well done, by an author wh

This is book #9.5, in the THIRDS series.   This book should be read in the order of series planned, as it will give serious spoilers.  This still can be read as a standalone, but not recommended. This book jumps in as Dex & Sloan are planning to get married soon.  With all the planning going on, how do you get things done when urban terrorists are trying to interfere in the job? On the brighter side, a crazy planned bachelor party is about to happen.  Will everyone show?  What surprises will there be?   This is such a great series!  I was excited to read about more adventures with my favorite THIRDS!  These characters are so great with the humor, loyalty, and most of all conviction.  So exciting to see what it coming next for them.  This was a fast paced installment but worth every page.  I give this story 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!
