Kitty's Book Spot!

This is book # 8 in the A Matter of Time series .   This book should not be read as a standalone.  While it could be, if you are just wanting a nibble, the book is part of an ongoing series.  To not read it in order is to miss out on the epic love story. Jory and Sam are finally getting married in Chicago.  Where they previously had a domestic partnership and married in Canada, it is Jory's dream to be married at home.  Sam wants to give Jory his dream. Jory is also being targeted by a madman.  While they are looking forward to a continued future of family and wedded bliss, he is again in danger.  Guess he really is a trouble magnet, as Sam calls him. Such a great, if not quick book.  Good addition to the series.  I sure hope the author continues to have us stop in and see what they are up to.  Amazing story and characters - I enjoy reading about them every time.  I give this story a 5/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

This is book # 2 in the Marshall series .  While each book from this author can be enjoyed as a standalone novel, reading in order makes it a lot more fun! Miro and Ian's story continues as we get into the 2nd book of the series.  They are getting used to being partners in more than one sense of the word.  Now roommates, they found that living together makes everything nicer. Only hiccup in the works, besides Ian having to take off when duty calls, is that Miro wants to be married and Ian does not think they need a piece of paper.  To Miro, it is a special thing to be married and he wants it more than air.  Giving up Ian is not something he is willing to do, so Miro thinks he will just have to go on the way they have been. Miro and Ian make an amazing couple!  They compliment each other well and it is good to see.  The other characters show up in this book as well and makes me feel good.  The best part for me is that they are a soli...
