Kitty's Book Spot!

Bess is new employee working for an established sports agency.  With her birthday coming up, her boss invites her to dinner with some new clients.  She figures it will give her experience, so why not go? Mark AKA "Tank" is excited to be chosen to work with the team in New York.  He was more than pleased to meet such a sexy woman at dinner too.  Maybe they should get to know one another? This was a quick jaunt into the lives of some very talented characters.  I was pleased to get to read their "meet cute."  Right from the beginning they are attracted to each other.  The fact they are intelligent only adds to the attraction.  We see these amazing characters again in the current book Sure Shot.

Bess is coming back to live in New York.  She had been here before for a brief time.  Where she met the sexiest man she had ever met.  Now, her plans are her focus.  To build hre business and keep her future on track. Mark AKA "Tank" has come back to New York as well.  He has not planned the messes that keep him following him.  Newly single, he has to get used to a new team, and try not to feel like his reputation is falling apart. Nate is a busy man.  He owns many successful businesses, including a hockey team.  He has worked with Becca for many years.  Now he feels an attraction he is ashamed to act on.  What would she think?  This is a long awaited story.  I was so excited to read this book, and could not contain my excitement!  It was everything I wanted and more.  I got more humor,  heat, banter, sexy times, hot hockey players - there is something for everyone!  I just really like these characters and was so glad they were meant to be....

Mike knows he messed up big time.  Every single time he and Lauren are in the same room together the old pain is back.  He wants to help her heal, but he wants her to himself. This story tore me apart.  I felt all the emotions.  These characters are already so real to me  Great addition to the series.  I give this book a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

This is the 2nd book in the Brooklyn Bruisers series .  This can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment and understanding, I recommend reading the series in order. Patrick has been hot for Ariana AKA Ari for a while.  Every time she is near, he feels the heat turn up to scalding.  The problem is she has not seemed to notice him in return. Ari loves her job, and does not want to have to choose Patrick over the terrific position she has now.  She is worried her boss would not approve of the employees connection.  With all that she is still facing from past problems, she is afraid to try again. This series is full of hot men!  I found myself laughing and crying right along with the characters.  I love how hockey can be hot and fun at the same time.  I give this book a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

This is the first book in the Brooklyn Bruisers series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment and further understanding, read in companion with The Ivy Years series. Georgia & Leo have a history.  When he comes to be on her team, with her father suddenly in the picture also, tensions are high.  Is it wrong of her to still want the man? Leo is not sure how he can stand the thought that Georgia may reject him yet again.  Just getting to know a new team is hard enough.  Now they just need a little heat and a little compromise. Seriously great start to a new series with beloved characters!  Already enjoying the series with the players seeming to be charming and hot.  What a joy to read!  I cannot wait to see what the author comes up with next.  I give this story a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!
