Kitty's Book Spot!

This is book # 2 in the Always & Forever series.   This book can be read as a standalone novel.  To enjoy the series, and to avoid spoilers, I recommend reading this series in order. Landon made some foolish mistakes.  Not wanting to make any more of them he is trying to be a friend to the good doctor who reads with him.  In return he ends up falling for the sexy doc who seems to have the same taste in books. Robert cannot believe how soothing this patient is to be with.  Enjoying books is one thing, but just talking to him is a comfort in ways he cannot put into words.  Finding more in common with the sexy military man, he may just want more than he can have. I was given the option to have a 'FREE PREVIEW' of this new book.  I loved it so much and could not put it down, so I ran to the library as soon as I finished my preview, so I could finish the story.  So worth it.  God Bless my local county library! Josh meets Kristen in a less than stellar way.  Then when they meet officially later, they already have to work harder to impress one another.  They are mutual friends of a couple who is getting married so there is a lot going on. Kristen is involved with someone else when she meets Josh, so they are just friends.  For now.  If ever a chance arises to to take it to another level?  Well lets just say there are enough sparks between them to light up Las Vegas. I was given the option to have a 'FREE PREVIEW' of this new book.  I loved it so much and could not put it down, so I ran to the library as soon as I finished my preview, so I could finish the story.  So worth it. Kailyn meets her star crush at college on the way to class.  She ends up competing with him in law school.  Then they meet later on and he does not recognize her. Daxton AKA "Dax" is shocked to meet such a fan at a college campus.  He has been trying to stay under the radar.  She is pretty and funny - so he lets it go.  Then tragedy strikes - and now he needs her help. Such an inspiring yet sexy story.  Rare to put those together in a sentence.  Both of these characters has development to show growth.  Both of them shared the attraction.  It was a fun read.  I give it a 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***Thanks to Netgalley, and the publisher for the free preview.

Beckett and Samara have a hot history.  Full of fighting, tension, and sparks that fly around.  Why not have a night to give them their all? Samara wants to not be attracted to her business rival.  His family is more than a mess.  It may take a trivial pursuit game to sort it all out.  Should she stifle her feelings or fan the flames of desire? This is book #3, in the A Perfect Fit series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader understanding of the series, and to avoid spoilers, I recommend reading in order. Max pretends to be something he is not in order to get his way, and solve a problem for a friend.  Only he has no intention of falling for the woman he lies to.  How to fix it once he realizes the inevitable?  Jessica cannot believe there are so many people who love her efforts.  Coming to this new town and being accepted is a big deal in her life.  To find a man who gets her was just plain unexpected.  When the truth comes out, can she forgive a well meaning man? This was a sweet and sexy installment to this great series.  The characters have great banter, heat, and sexy times.  I love how the challenge of chasing the girl is so very prominent in this story.  You really feel the struggle and the end result is so worth it!...

This is book #2, in the Arden St Ives series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader understanding, and to avoid spoilers, I recommend reading this series in order. Arden's story continues with his on and off again relationship trial with Caspian.  He puts himself out there in the hopes that he can help heal the coldest of hearts.  While it seems a good patch for a time, there is always the human factor. Caspian does not want to be fixed, nor does he want to come across weak.  His view of Arden trying to keep him close is skewed by those who have claimed to love him before.  This would take all day and a slew of psychoanalysis to try and explain.  For now, we must accept he is not ready to move on. This is book #2, in the San Francisco Thunder series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment and understanding, I recommend reading this series in order. Dixie is working in the publicist department for this amazing hockey franchise, she finds there are rules that restrict her personal life.  Rules she is willing to live by - to achieve her goals.  Until it runs into her current guy. Elijah is excited to be working with his brother's team.  It is like a dream come true.  He is extremely attracted to an employee, who is afraid for her job if they get together.  He has his own demons from the past, and forging a future currently seems like an uphill climb. This was such an amazing addition to the series!  I loved the characters right from the beiginning.  Their banter, the tease, the sparks.... oh my!  This was a joy to read.  I laughed right along, and felt riveted when with each...

This is the 2nd book in the Elite Ops series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment & understanding of the series, I recommend reading in order. Missy works with Conrad every day.  She realizes what a player he is, and decides she must change the course for her future.  When all goes boom, it is a good thing he is on her side. Conrad has been in love with Missy and doing whatever he has to for her not to find out.  It could kill both of their careers if their superiors knew.  When the worst happens - they are going to put their feelings to the test. This is book # 2, in the Colorado Ice series.   This book can be read as a standalone novel.  To avoid spoilers, and have a better understanding of the characters, I recommend reading this series in order. Olivia & Ben had history of a hot night together.  When they see one another again, she has a whole other future in mind.  She tries to stay away, but the pull between them is stronger. Ben is so happy to see Olivia again.  He cannot stop the heat between them anymore than she can.  There are so many things that could pull them apart, and neither is ready to let go. This was a sweetly hot story.  I like this series and these characters are a lot of fun to read.  This book was hot with bit of a capital H.  Great addition to the series, and some of our fave characters from the previous book in here also.  I cannot wait to read the next story.  I give this installment a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This copy ...
