Kitty's Book Spot!

Logan hires Isabella to be his no nonsense nanny.  He had an ex drop the baby on him in a bar.  He needs someone to help him learn the ropes of temporary fatherhood. Isabella knows that this arrangement will never be temporary.  She has seen this too often.  She must teach Logan how to care for an infant, so he can enjoy his child. Logan is so grateful to have the amazing Isabella with his child.  He must go out of town a lot for work.  He honestly knows nothing about how to care for an infant.  Now if only he could control the attraction to the nanny. Such a sweet and sexy book.  I loved the banter, the heat, and the angst.  Truly this story has it all - even a baby!  These two are so meant to be together.  I give this book a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This ARC copy was given by Netgalley and its publishers in exchange for an honest review.

This is book # 4 in The Boys Of Summer series .   While this book is just fine as a standalone novel, it would be easier to understand and enjoy if you read the series in order as intended.  All the books in this series feature hot men and steamy love stories. Connor is about to retire, as he is traded back home to the Sonics.  He wants to put his life in order, and has an idea what he wants for his life after baseball.  The biggest part of that is Tracy.  His college girl, she was the one that got away. Tracy has been through the ringer with her ex-husband.  She now is a single mom to four kids and is not sure where to fit Connor into her life.  Could he accept her as she is?  Is the past heat something that can be rekindled? This was an amazing story about what is important in life.  There are so many parts to this book that I would love to point out, but do not want to spoil for the reader.  I will say, there are surprise...

This book is the 3rd in The Boys of Summer series.  Can be read as a standalone novel, but for reader's benefit, I always recommend the whole series be read in order. Jessica Hart and Gavin King meet when he is traded to the New Jersey Sonics team she works for as a physical therapist.  The attraction between them is instant.  Jessica is gun shy since she has already dated a baseball player who treated her poorly. Gavin takes an immediate interest in Jessica.  He is trying to adjust to being traded, moving to a new place, and getting to know and try to be part of the team.  She just makes him feel at peace.  Like he can learn to love New Jersey and make it home.
