This is the 17th book in the Troubleshooters series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  To avoid spoilers, and for reader enjoyment and understanding of this fabulous 5* series I recommend reading in order. Shayla helps her neighbor Peter, when she sees him on the side of the road trying to flag help down.  Then they get to know one another and the heat is on!  The attraction is mutual, if not surprising. Peter cannot find his daughter.  With her missing his life feels out of control.  His neighbor comes to his aid, and he is attracted to more than her body.  Her mind is such a sexy thing. This is such a great addition to the series.  This story has it all.  I loved the character interactions, the sexy times, the recurring characters visiting & more!  Hard to put down a Troubleshooters book, and this is no exception.  If you were looking for a summer read, look no further!  I give this amazing stor...

Hotter

This is book #2, in the Last Shot series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment and understanding, I recommend reading in order. Marco & Carrie met when she brought her best friend to his bar for a tasting.  Now, their best friends are getting married.  They see one another all the time, but he has no idea why Carrie seems like she hates him. Carrie does not want to be attracted to the hotter Marco.  He just sets her on fire with a look.  The more she gets to know him better, the more she is attracted to him. The story confused me at first.  The characters are so hot together.  It makes for a great story.  The more funny things happen, the greater this story is.  I give this book a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ****This ARc copy was given in exchange for an honest review.

This is book #4, in the Ethan Frost series.   This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader understanding and enjoyment, I recommend you read this great series in order. Miles and Tori have always had at least a bit of animosity between them.  To admit to the attraction, would have been taboo.  Something happens that lets them get closer. Tori has had the worst day of her life.  What will she do with no shoes and no job?  Where will she go?  Can she find her way with the help of friends? Totally unexpected is what this book is.  This series already leaves you kind of on the edge of y our seat.  This story makes me wish this series was on TV.  Characters from earlier books in the series are here as well.  I give this story a 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This copy was given in exchange for an honest review by Netgalley and its publishers.

Surprises

Image
Hayden and her best friend check out a new place and learn about tequila and men.  Many surprises for the reader in this  series opener .  Interesting characters and fun times are had inside. Beck is a former SEAL, who opens a restaurant/bar with his best friends.  Hayden turns his life upside down, and he finds that was the best part of all.  If they can agree it is love, the future looks bright. I really enjoyed this book.  There was a lot to learn.  I laughed, cried, and basically felt every page.  I cannot wait to check out the next book in this  Last Shot series .  I give this story a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

This series is just getting better and better.  I feel like with each book, we learn so much about these characters.   I give this story a 5/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This ARC copy was given by Netgalley and its publisher, in exchange for an honest review.

Talk to me

Image
Clementine bumps literally into Justin at the airport, and later finds out their cell phones are switched.  They end up talking each day to pass messages on to one another.  A new and tentative friendship is born. Justin is attracted to the voice and the pictures he sees on the phone.  He wants to meet with her when they both get back in town.  Maybe even go on a date.  The attraction appears to be mutual and they set it up. Clementine and Justin have chemistry that just lights up the story and this book!  It is a fun read.  I found the character development and pace to be spot on.  I enjoyed the banter with them and loved the sizzle and heat.  I give this story a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This ARC copy was given by Netgalley.com and its publisher in exchange for an honest review.
