Kitty's Book Spot!

Álvaro Montero AKA "D" is now supposedly dead for better purposes.  Oh he did actually die.  Only to be resurrected by someone who wants him to use his skills to get rid of the bad that is among polite society. Caiden has been burned and his days with the CIA are numbered.  Then he gets the chance to find out who it was that actually burned him.  Will he really want to know once he finds out?  And will working with his sort of ex cause more problems? This was such a fun and fast paced read.  I loved the banter and the sexy heat between the characters.  There was so much to the story, and I never felt it lag.  I eagerly gobbled up each page.  I cannot wait to read the next book in the  series .  I give this a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

This is book #10 in the Black Knights Inc. series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  To really appreciate the goodness that is BKI, I think the reader should read this series in order. Dagan AKA "Z" is both a co-worker and frenemy with Chelsea.  They have worked together in more than one company, and trust is important in their line of work.  If only he can turn off the dreams he has about her. Chelsea has been in love with Z for years.  He has never known the part she has played in his past, either.  Keeping secrets has gotten her no where.  Maybe it is time to tell? Under the BKI blanket, we always get a hot story, with a side of burnin' love.  This one takes you over to the other side of the pond.  With sexy accents, secrets, and a mystery to solve - this story unfolds quickly and satisfies with an HEA.  I give this book a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

Gaige is hired by threat to get into an office that does not welcome them.  He meets Alec there, however, and this changes everything.  The attraction is explosive and instant. Alec is disgusted that he is attracted to someone who he cannot trust.  As he gets to know him better, they realize they are really on the same side.  Now if they can build trust and start to show it, then maybe a future can happen.  If they save the world in between, just a bonus, right? I have to tell you, I am never disappointed with this author's work.  The characters have excellent banter, the pace moves along quickly, and the heat is just sizzling!  The mystery to solve is like the icing on the cake.  I cannot wait to read the next book in this new  The Dirty   series.   I give this story a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This ARC copy was given by Netgalley and its publishers, in exchange for an honest review only.

Vic is just sick of his job and needs some time off.  His ex needs his help.  Should he help her out of the goodness and the memories?  The chemistry between them is explosive and just seeing her again stirs it all back up. Mac knows that being around Vic could kiss her.  Without his help she would die anyway.  She has to solve this latest case without getting them all killed.  If only she could solve this case without feeling Vic in her heart again. This book was blessedly fast pace.  Right from the start it is heart pounding, and the case leaping off the page.  I was pleased that the characters truly belong to together.  Their story is such a sexy and intense heat with a great mystery woven in.  I eagerly turned each page.  I give this book a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This copy was given in exchange of an honest review.

This is a book from the new Titan World series.   This is where series that are alike come together with those of the Titan series, created by Cristin Harber.  If you are already familiar with the Titan series, this is going to be a joy for you.  If you are as of yet unfamiliar - I am curious, where have you been? James has had a lot of business with the CIA.  This one is new to him since he cannot prevent himself from being attracted to Allie.  His job is not to get to know her, but to help her stay hidden. Allie just wants her memory back.  She did not know she would have the hots for the doctor that seems to understand her.  If only the sparks would stop flying.... This series is incredible!  All the Titan related novels are full of heat, intrigue, sexy times, and of course, suspense.  I really loved that this book started with a fast paced story and ended with a bang.  True to form and really drool worthy.  I am ver...

This is the 2nd book in the End Of The Line series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader understanding and enjoyment, I recommend reading these in order. Will inspires lust for Hunter the second he meets him.  He is sent to take down Will's siblings, not get sidetracked by their little brother.  He ends up working with him, but fighting himself and temptation. Hunter is a badass bodyguard wrapped in hot man candy.  Will finds it hard to fight his attraction to him.  Right from the beginning he has made his heart beat harder.  Can they find common ground? This is the 6th book in the highly acclaimed Alpha Ops series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  This is a great series, and those who read in order will find it is easier to understand and enjoy. Malone "Mal" and Abby meet when he cannot take just watching her anymore.  He sets up a chance for her to rescue him.  She takes the bait.   Abby is a CIA agent keeping watch on the Russian/Ukraine border.  Her father does not know she is a fully trained field agent.  He sends Mal to watch over his daughter. This is book # 5 in the Alpha Ops series .   This book can be read as a standalone novel.  It is my recommendation for full understanding and comprehension for the reader, this series should be read in the order intended.  It does not disappoint. Simon and Sadie have a complicated past.  Now it appears they will have a complicated future as well.  Sadie cannot tell him about her training and op.  He cannot talk about his either. Sadie was hurt by his actions in the past.  Can she forgive what he does now?  She cannot seem to stay away from the magnetic pull that draws her to him.  The attraction still pulls at them both.  The sparks are flying! Simon is trying to figure her out, while also saving his mark from being taken.  If only they had gotten it right in the past.  Then maybe the future would look brighter.  I think if I had more thumbs I would give it 5 thumbs up!  I give this story a 5/5 Kitty's Pa...
