Kitty's Book Spot!

Bess is new employee working for an established sports agency.  With her birthday coming up, her boss invites her to dinner with some new clients.  She figures it will give her experience, so why not go? Mark AKA "Tank" is excited to be chosen to work with the team in New York.  He was more than pleased to meet such a sexy woman at dinner too.  Maybe they should get to know one another? This was a quick jaunt into the lives of some very talented characters.  I was pleased to get to read their "meet cute."  Right from the beginning they are attracted to each other.  The fact they are intelligent only adds to the attraction.  We see these amazing characters again in the current book Sure Shot.

This is book #6.5 in the Arizona Vengeance series.   This book should be read in conjunction with the authors Cold Fury series to fully enjoy.  It is not required, obviously, but will make the understanding easier.  It will also stop any spoilers that could occur. This is book # 3.5, in the Voyeur series.  This book should not be read as a standalone novella.  It is a story follow up for book # 2, and should be read in order in order not to spoil. Jackson and Jake's story continues with wedding jokes, venues, and potential mothers-in-law.  So much going on that the guys seem not to be connecting like they were.  Can the past stay there? Jake has no idea what has Jackson so upset and tired lately.  What happened to wanting to be married?  What happened to forever?  He is going to find out no matter what. This short and sexy novella was a perfect glimpse into the lives of the guys we were missing.  What a great series.  So much to these characters and we are so glad to have more time with them. This book is a short story addition to the Billionaire Bad Boys series.   This book should not be read until after  Going Down Easy .  For a complete understanding of the series, and to avoid spoilers, I recommend reading this after the incredible  Billionaire Bad Boys series . This is book #6.5 from the Dare To Love series.   This book can be read as a standalone novel, but I would not recommend this.  Reading these in order helps to avoid spoilers and gives a full understanding of such a deliciously sexy family series. Ian misses alone time with his wife.  Surprises can be fun.  He plans a Christmas present for both by making the time. Riley cannot believe how tired she is lately.  She is wishing she had more time for all the directions she feels pulled in. This was a short, sexy, and sweet stop back into see where the characters were in their lives.  My only complaint was that it was too short.  My joy was that they are great together.  I give this a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This copy was provided for review purposes only.

This is book #5, in The Knight Brothers series.   This book should be read in order, though it could be on its own.  It makes more sense, and to avoid spoilers, you should read this sexy series in order. Harper has lived a lonely existence.  She is now looking to make up for it and move on - but her thoughts and cravings always lead her back to Matt.  She has tried but, all she wants is him. Matt hears Harper's car, and knows she will be needing him soon.  He plans a way to be with her while out of town and finally tell her how he feels.  It's time she knows she is his everything. Gabe is sick of the long boring commute to work.  He is also sick and tired of hook ups that go no where.  Trying one app just one more time he hits the proverbial jackpot.  Now all he has to do is convince Mark he is worth taking the chance. Mark is very attracted to Gabe and he is not afraid to show it.  He finds the best locations to meet up and make sure to get alone time with the amazing Gabe.  The only catch here is he really wants to take it to be something more.  Is it time to try? Crispin has been close friends with Wills for a long time.  They have only recently drifted apart due to time and location.  When they get together for holidays its like they never left. Wills has a hard time expressing himself.  Well, technically they both have their hang ups.  Still being new at this more than friends stuff, they both need to find the courage to tell the other they want more. This book is related to the Assassins series .  This qualifies as what could be a prequel for said series.  I recommend reading the amazing series in order, if possible. Grace's POV is where we begin reading this quick read.  She is the kind of girl that wants forever.  The kind you take home to your mother. James has never been the forever kind.  For Grace, he will learn how.  This is a small piece of how they get together.  Tugging on our heartstrings, he chases the one he loves. This was a small and simply sweet read.  Sexy tension is in the room whenever these two are.  Learning how they got together, when we can appreciate it later in their son's story.  I give this yummy piece a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

Carter loves the holidays.  His partner is a doctor, and worked straight through.  So he gets one heck of a surprise for Valentine's Day. Vaughn has wanted to show Carter how much he cares.  This was just a simple way to show how much there is between them.  A way to show he is always on his mind. This was a short and sweet story about real love that overcomes obstacles.  The characters bring much heat and adoration to each page.  I loved the sincerity that came across.  This author combo is always a must click for me, and this proved why.  I give this book a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

This is probably what I would consider  The Boy Friend #1.5 .  This should not be meant to be a standalone read.  It takes place following  The Boy Friend .  I recommend reading them in order to avoid spoilers. Coriander AKA "Cori" is going to finally marry Dean.  We leave off 6 months after the last book ended, with this couple so happy together officially.  Cori just has secrets she is afraid to approach with Dean. Dean has so much love for his bride to be.  All he wishes is that she would communicate with him so they can solve what is wrong.  He knows he will do anything for his dear Cori. This is such a sweet, if short jaunt back into the lives of our favorite couple.  Trying to keep their bliss, they encounter some rough spots on the way to matrimony.  Worth the simple and hot read.  I give this book a 5/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This early copy was given in exchange for an honest review.
