Ivy is best friends with both Jackson, and his sister.  They are almost like family.  Almost.  Except she has serious feeling she does not want to admit about Jackson.  They have a hot history in more ways than one. Jackson has always wanted Ivy for his own.  They have serious chemistry and sparks are always flying when they are in the same room.  Now, he has the chance to spend time with her and maybe get her to see him in a new light?   Lots of humor, and very sexy story!  I loved the characters right from the get go.  I really felt like this was a compelling and interesting story with deep characters.  You can actually feel their pain and happiness leap off the page.  I give this a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This ARC copy was given in exchange for an honest review by its publishers, along with Netgalley.

Jake & Darby are neighbors, and he wants to be more.  He also owns her favorite restaurant and she feels it is a little too close for comfort.  What if something were to go wrong? Darby does not believe in happily ever after.  Not anymore.  She has the case files to prove her theory.  So the fact she is attracted to Jake bothers her.  How can she want someone so wrong for her? This is the 2nd book in the True Lies series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment and understanding, I recommend reading the series in the order intended. Simon and Cassie are a lot like the Bond movies.  He is the alpha hero trying to protect everyone from a murdering psycho, and she is a new field agent who is mostly a um er nerd.  They go together like oil and water. Cassie just wants to be more than the brain she is known for.  Her eccentricities are what make for an interesting book.  Simon and Cassie have to find common ground and catch a bad guy while this fast paced book keeps you on your toes! Roth and Holly are best friends in every sense.  They live close by, they play games together, and they commiserate with one another.  They are sick of being set up by well meaning friends and family.  It's time they change the odds. Holly does not want a commitment.  Neither does Roth.  Can they play the ultimate scheme and not come out burned?  If someone is your everyone, doesn't that mean their really your everything?
