Better than fate
Ford and Jarvis work together, but first meet out with mutual friends and co-workers. Ford has just moved to town, and is there on an internship with their company. Jarvis is attracted right away, even though Ford thinks he is taken. Ford has had a lot happen to him in a very short time. College, his best friend treating him like trash for coming out, losing said best friend and other friends too, moving to a new town, a new job, etc. We can safely say he has trust issues. Jarvis is a happy person, who along with many friends, enjoys his life as he has found a way to be healthy and happy. He treats his body like a temple, does yoga, and more. He wants a chance with Ford, but Ford thinks he is a player. The most awkward thing for them is they work at the same location. So when things are bad, it makes things very strange between them and their co-workers. Ford is scared to trust since he has proven wrong in the past. ...
