Kitty's Book Spot!

Penn has much to blame on Daria.  After he helped her to shoo his sister away, he spends the next four years on ice.  Literally not feeling anything, until he sees her again. Daria has been trying to be seen.  She is not seen or heard at home.  She gravitates toward the loners, even though she is part of the popular kids at school.  Her attraction to Penn is the only thing she really feels. This dark romance was quite the surprise.  I felt all the feels.  I laughed, cried, and basically begged for mercy as I got closer to the end of the book.  This is a story full of very deep and rich characters.  I found myself spellbound by them and wondering what they would do next.  I think this was a great read.  I give this a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

This is book #2, in the Trident Security: Omega Team series .  This can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader to completely understand, I would recommend readers read in the order intended. Darius is undercover with a hellish drug lord, when in comes more women for his human trafficking ring.  This one he recognizes.  She is someone who can blow his cover too. Princess Tahira has no idea where she and her cousins have been taken to.  She must escape or fall victim to the worst sort of crime.  Good thing a hero is there in the shadows. This is book #2 in the Lost In London series ,  and #5 in the London Lovers series.   This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader understanding, and to avoid spoilers, I recommend reading these series in order. Hayden has had a tough time recently.  He lost a loved one, was fighting depression, and lost who he believes was the love of his life.  Then he meets someone he cannot stop thinking about.  The timing sucks, but love gets you when you least expect it. Vi does not want anything to do with the man who blew her off so quickly.  When she sees him again she cannot stop her heart from wanting, but she can use her head and be smart.  Is it possible to deny yourself something you were not sure you needed in the first place? This was an emotional and deep story.  These characters are fiercely independent and fight falling in the worst way.  Chemistry is strong, however, and it wins every time.  Sad, ...
