Kitty's Book Spot!

This is book #3, in the VIP series.   This book can be read as a standalone novel.  To avoid spoilers, and to fully understand the series, I recommend reading this series in order. Jax is stunned from the moment he meets Stella.  He does not know why he is so attracted, but he thinks about her all the time.  Can he be what she needs to make a future? Stella is surprised to meet Jax.  The attraction is mutual. She becomes his neighbor.  They meet up constantly and accidentally and the heat is sparking all over. This story was more involved and a little dark.  I like how realistic it was about addiciton and depression.  These are hard subjects to tackle and I felt it was done well.  I liked reading about the characters falling.  It felt organic, real, and like I was in the room.  I enjoyed this read.  I give this a 5/5 Kitty's Book Spot!

This is book # 5, from the Hometown Players series.   This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader understanding of the series, and enjoyment of the story, I recommend reading the series in order. Stephanie & Avery met when he worked with her brother on a hockey team in Seattle.  Now he is a free agent moving to a new city.  Where?  Right by her. Avery is done with other women.  He knows what he wants is  Stephanie, so now he must go to her and find a way to his future.  Can he win her over? This is book # 2 in the All Saints series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  I recommend reading the series in order, for reader enjoyment and understanding. Marc & Anthony have a history that did not end well.  When the two cross paths again, it is because Anthony has a little sister who begs.  After seeing each other again, they both seem to come alive. Anthony suffers from an addiction he needs to kick. Marc deals with runaways and homeless teens at the LGBT shelter he works for.  He knows what Anthony faces if he is really to get clean. These two are so meant to be together!  All through the story you cannot help but want the HEA.  The series is so good!  I was pleased to revisit the amazing characters from the first book, as well.  I cannot wait for the next story in this series.  I give this a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!   ***This ARC copy was given by Netgalley and its publisher...

Dylan & Cameron grew up together.  They did everything together.  In their teens, they fell in love too.  Growing together was their greatest happiness. Cameron went on to live a pretty good life, without Dylan.  Dylan had found the dark, negative side to life - away from Cameron.  When he saw him again, he was afraid to say anything.   Dylan and Cameron want to find each other again.  How patient can you be to relive a first love?  Can it be rekindled at a later date?  Dylan only wants Cameron.  Nothing maters more. Such a very sweet and yet emotional story.  We see what can happen, and not happen when two friends move beyond the casual.  I found this extremely compelling and I am not afraid to say I was hooked and could not put it down.  I give this book a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!
