Kitty's Book Spot!

Foster goes off to the new year of college with a focus in mind - Hockey.  Then his brother adds a twist.  He asks him to keep an eye on his best friend who will be attending the same institution of learning.  The same best friend who is close to his brother, whom he has avoided since he felt the pull of attraction. Zach is not a people person.  He is however, a Foster person.  He has always wanted Foster. He gets single minded in his studies and can be a bit different.  Foster never makes him feel that way.  This couple had me rooting for them from the very first chapter.  I enjoyed this read.  I found the characters very real and fascinating.  There was humor and heat, and a real connection.  I could not put this book down.  I give this a 5/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

Noah meets Spiro after he comes to stay with his Grandmother for the summer before he goes off to college. At first he is just in awe of the good looks, great body, and superior smile. Then as they become friends it has the potential to turn into more. Spiro has to watch himself. He is reminded at every turn by his uncle that he is there at the courtesy of this family who owns it all. Can he help it if they have such an amazing person such as Noah in their family? He is struggling to hide his interest in such an amazing young man. This story takes you through the beginning of first love, and off to the reunion as well. While not normally my style, I found my self intrigued by the story itself. These two lives being brought back together as one was almost magical. It is refreshing, honest, and felt very sincere. This is book #3, in the Boston Terriers Hockey series.   This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment, and to avoid spoilers, I recommend reading this fun series in order intended. Maddie is finally done with high school and on to the rest of her life.  A life she has been waiting and hoping for.  Along with Shaw giving her a chance at a future, anyway.  Only he has no idea. Shaw has been feeling something new for Maddie for a while.  Not really sure how to approach it, he wants to feel her out without her overprotective brother in the way.  Little does he know how poetic those thoughts are going to be. Conor was a typical party guy who loved being a player.  Lately he has found himself being played.  Girls just want to get with him to brag that they caught a hockey player.  He is doubting a lot of things lately.
