Kitty's Book Spot!

Prince Owin has come to take his turn in the search to solve his quest.  The King will send him on his way with minimal resources and he must solve the quest to get the prize.  Along the way, he only has his bodyguard as company. Grimm is the most alpha of the alpha's, since he too is of royal blood.  Having been assigned to the Prince, he finds it hard to take that he does not appreciate the canine creatures with which he has been surrounded. Together, these characters go on a short but simple journey.  There is some magical surprises and more creatures to be found.  The characters are both fun and playful in their own ways.  Such a sweet and yet sexy read.  I give this a 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

Álvaro Montero AKA "D" is now supposedly dead for better purposes.  Oh he did actually die.  Only to be resurrected by someone who wants him to use his skills to get rid of the bad that is among polite society. Caiden has been burned and his days with the CIA are numbered.  Then he gets the chance to find out who it was that actually burned him.  Will he really want to know once he finds out?  And will working with his sort of ex cause more problems? This was such a fun and fast paced read.  I loved the banter and the sexy heat between the characters.  There was so much to the story, and I never felt it lag.  I eagerly gobbled up each page.  I cannot wait to read the next book in the  series .  I give this a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

This is book #3 in the Four Kings Security series .   This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader understanding, and to avoid spoilers, I recommend reading this sexy series in order. Eduardo AKA “Lucky” has been hot for Mason for a long time.  When he finally gets the chance to test the attraction out, he is shocked to find the man he wants so badly has similar fears in the commitment area.  Will there pasts doom hem from the start? Mason has run into a problem at work.  He will have some time to consider his future.  While he is waiting, spending some time with a man he finds so potent could either be a good, or bad idea. This  series  is on fire!  I love each character.  Cool how they are all in these stories like we are watching a TV show.  This story is full of heat, heart, and humor.  Typical of such a great author, it moves along well and keeps you wanting more.  The sexy times are...

This is book #10, and the final story in the THIRDS series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel, but why miss all the action and fun?  There is another series soon on the horizon.... you won't want to miss that one either! Sloane & Dex are finally tying the knot.  Not before taking care of yet another terrorist problem.  While their team steps up for one more time together of getting the bad guy, the future Daley's have a lot coming at them.  Wedding plans, family, work, secrets, and so much more. Dex is ready to marry the love of his life.  Only there are a just a few more surprises in store for him.  Sloane has no jitters at all, as he is excited to finally have his man be really his. This is book #9.5, in the THIRDS series.   This book should be read in the order of series planned, as it will give serious spoilers.  This still can be read as a standalone, but not recommended. This book jumps in as Dex & Sloan are planning to get married soon.  With all the planning going on, how do you get things done when urban terrorists are trying to interfere in the job? On the brighter side, a crazy planned bachelor party is about to happen.  Will everyone show?  What surprises will there be?   This is such a great series!  I was excited to read about more adventures with my favorite THIRDS!  These characters are so great with the humor, loyalty, and most of all conviction.  So exciting to see what it coming next for them.  This was a fast paced installment but worth every page.  I give this story 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

This is the 8th book in the acclaimed THIRDS series .  This book can be read as a standalone.  As it is a continuation of previous stories, I recommend reading this great series in order. The mystery continues as Dex & Sloane try to figure out how to live with Dex being different.  It is not bad, just not what they are used to.  He is more aggressive, assertive, and even more aware. Sloane has a lot to answer for, as he and Dex make decisions to move into their future.  Friends, family and co-workers alike are shocked and upset.  Now it is up to them to make them understand. This series moves at such a fast pace!  I love the thrilling stories and unbelievable mysteries.  The main characters are under the gun in this one.  There are many surprises in store for the reader.  I give this book a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

This is the 7th book in the THIRDS series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  CAUTION:  Each book is added upon the previous book and should be read in order.  In order to avoid spoilers and for greater understanding. Dex & Sloane and the team have their work cut out for them in the latest THIRDS book.  Sloane is back to anger issues, Dex is scared out of his mind, and the team is completely exasperated.   Why?  Because the latest adventure has more than meets the eye.  All our favorite characters are back in what seems to be the darkest book yet.  Sloane & Dex must overcome the secrets and people who try to rip them apart. This series is simply breathtaking!  I am just now catching my breath, after reading this pulse-pounding action in this story.  While keeping us on our toes, it is still filled with sweet moments that make us feel complete.  I give this book a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ...

This is the 6th book in the THIRDS series .   This book can be read as a standalone novel.  Due to the content and continuing story lines, I recommend reading this series in order. Calvin and Ethan have been best friends since they were small.  Now they are partners at work.  No one fully gets their relationship.  Calvin wants more and Ethan has issues he does not want to have Calvin deal with. Ethan also has family who add to the problems.  He loves them dearly but they add to his own stress.  Can he make a life with the one person who means the most?  Calvin never asks too much of him.  Can they learn to lean on each other when it matters more? I found this long awaited book so precious.  I did not want to put it down.  These characters are so much fun to read!  I give this story a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

This is the 5th book in the THIRDS acclaimed series .   I recommend reading the books in order for full understanding of the story and enjoyment for the reader.  This book can be read as a standalone, but I caution the inside jokes and mystery taking place makes more sense reading as the author intended. The long awaited story for Ash and Cael comes with several surprises.  The THIRDS team has been through a lot lately, and they are struggling at this point.  Cael wants to hope that his friendship with Ash can sustain the hits they keep taking, but he is not so sure. Ash is still in denial until a tragedy wakes him up to the real possibility he could lose Cael before he ever really has him.  All our favorite agents are present and accounted for, making this a fun and exciting read. Julian Quintero aka "Quinn" lives next door to Spencer Morgan.  For at least a year now, Spencer has hoped to have the courage to talk to him.  He knows he is invisible to Quinn, so he is afraid to step across the line into the light of his attention. Quinn, as a member of the SWAT team, is a rather intimidating fellow.  The only reason Spencer even knows he is gay, is that he saw him kiss another man goodbye at the door once.  Following an incident at work, Quinn is at home, laid up, and recuperating.  Spencer wants to help but is not sure how. Spencer and Quinn's neighbor, also Spencer's best friend encourages him to go offer food or help to the recuperating officer.  While trying to do just that, Quinn's best friend stops by and gets his phone number to give to Quinn. Dex and Sloane's story forges ahead in the 4th book for the THIRDS series.   The fight to protect humans and therians alike continues.  We pick up in this book right where we left off in the 3rd book.  You really can read this book on its own, but for full read enjoyment - please read in order. With two of the most veteran team members injured and out of commission, the team is told to go on leave.  This does not site well with Dex, who wants to protect those he loves.  He knows the next strike by this villain will be to someone he cares about. Dex ends up going around the rules and lying to everyone in order to investigate the old fashioned way he did when he was back at the HPF.  He take it so seriously that the man he loves has been hurt - he cannot see beyond getting this guy behind bars or killing him.   Sloane, keeps some things to himself as well and their relationship they were just building, starts to suffer.  Ash is...

Dex and Sloane's story continues in the 3rd book for the THIRDS series.   We see more of the characters we loved from the first 2 books, and we get to know more of the story and back story as to how the therians came about.  This book can be read as a standalone, but for your reading enjoyment - I recommend reading all of this series in order. Dex is fitting right in with the THIRDS agents now.  Sloane and Dex still have to hide their relationship due to policy.  We also find out that there is a mole somewhere in the THIRDS agents.   Dex is learning that he loves Sloane now and cannot imagine his life without him.  By nature, Sloane wants to be free and may never give him the kind of relationship he craves with him.  So he keeps his feelings to himself. The THIRDS series  continues with this next installment ( Book # 2 ) of Dexter J Daley & Sloane Broadie.  The search continues for a terrorist who has made even those who protect feel unsafe.  We see more of the characters from the team within Destructive Delta.  This book can be read as standalone.  For reader enjoyment, I recommend reading this series in correct order. The team is still chasing bad guys while working to be a cohesive team now that Dex is a permanent part of it.  Sloane is unhappy that he cannot stop wanting Dex.  Thinking about him all the time, seeing him in his dreams, it is taking its toll. This is the first book of the very well rated THIRDS series .  In this book we get introduced to the main characters, the team, the family dynamics and the basics of how the story and Therians come about.  We meet Dexter J Daley and his new partner Sloane Brodie.   Dex starts out as a Human Police Force cop, who has to testify against his partner.  Then he is basically kicked out and transferred over to a new division.  There he meets the team of THIRDS agents that he will be working with.  It is quite an adjustment. Sloan has not wanted a partner.  He can never replace the one he lost.  Since then he has been unfairly cruel to those who have tried to be his partner.  Now, with Dex being basically his last chance - and a completely worthy choice - he finally has a partner.
