This book started out slow and I wondered how it would get there.  Then I got a few chapters in and the pace not only picked up, but the story just about blasted off the page.  I fell for these characters and could not put it down.  I am excited for the next book in the series.  I give this a 5/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This early copy was given in exchange for an honest review, by Netgalley and its publishers.

This is book #2, in the Tate Brothers series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment and understanding, I recommend reading this amazing series in order. Lucas wants to keep Grace safe.  If there is anyone who can do this, he can.  Since they already have a history of tragedy between them he feels it prudent to keep his distance from her emotionally. Grace knows that Lucas the means and training to keep her safe physically.  What about her heart?  She has already known tragedy and loss.  Is it wise to find herself attracted to the same type of man again? This new series starts off with a bang as the  Tate Brothers  learn about what their father expects from his will and other documents.  It sets them all off, as they are SEAL's and don't take what he tells them lightly.  This book is the focus of Sullivan Tate's request. Sullivan AKA "Van"  is a pretty important figure from Chloe's childhood.  So when he tells her the latest news to protect her, is hits her hard.  Already reeling from the loss of her father, the added strain makes her even more vulnerable.  She turns to Van to feel stronger and solve what seems to be the unsolvable. This is already a really exciting series!  I love the characters so much already.  The male lead is totally H-O-T and really alpha.  He seems to be so focused on what needs to be done.  I cannot wait to see them again in later books.  I am also very excited to read the next installment in the  Tate Brothers series .  I giv...

This is the 3rd book in the Nine Circles series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment and understanding, I recommend reading series in order. Zac has been protecting Eva for the better part of a decade.  They are good friends as well.  He is the man who has saved her, and she trusts him. Eva has been through a lot.  Now, Zac is hoping they can be more than friends.  He does not want to ruin the balance they have, but living without telling her is hard to do.
