Kitty's Book Spot!

This is the final piece to the Judged 3 part serial.  I recommend reading in order for the purposes  of understanding the story and reader enjoyment.  Also this series is intended for a mature audience of adults only. The story leads in as we left off from the part two book where Sicily and Drake are not speaking.  Once again, something Sicily said has Drake scrambling from the pain and rejection of feeling judged for his past.  He decides to take a beat and not be around anyone for a while. Sicily, checks in with her roommates and asks for help, since the man she was not sure of just a short time ago is making her want a future and soon.  She had talked to her older brother for advice, and he warned her away.  This in turn caused a fight - since the source she should have gone to for the information should have been Drake. Drake has done everything he can to keep her safe.  Now he has a family emergency calling him home and he wants ...

This is  Part 2 of a 3 part Serial.  I recommend reading the Part 1 first, for full understanding and of course, reader enjoyment. Sicily and Drake are still going rounds in this book.  We pick up where we left off with her being investigated for a crime everyone knows she did not commit.  Also, Drake does a little investigating on his own. Drake is continually getting hurt trying to put himself out there and let Sicily know she means everything to him.  Until  his best friend tells him he does not think he has said it the right way. Sicily finally talks with Drake in this story.  They share more about their personal lives as they get to know one another better.  She finally gets bold enough to tell him what she really wants. Sicily and Drake DeMarco have known each other since she moved to town with her two roommates.  Drake is best friend to her BFF's man, Jake.  They see each other all the time. Drake finally gets the nerve to ask Sicily out.  She is not sure that is really what he is doing.  She thinks he is hinting she needs to join his gym for her weight being too high.  He thinks she is perfect and just wants reasons to see her more often. Sicily owns one of the local bakeries in town.  She has gained weight since moving here and opening her shop.  She is concerned for her health, since she had a family member die of a heart attack.
