Kitty's Book Spot!

This is book #4, in the Man Hands series.   This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment, and to avoid spoilers, I recommend reading these in order intended. Meg met Mac under the funniest of circumstances.  A case of mistaken identity, a sexy cop, and then an emergency.  When they see each other again later it steals the breath from her body. Mac has the hots for Meg.  Has wanted her since the moment they met.  They seem to be good friends, so why not stay that way?  His family makes him do drastic things. This is the best book in the series to me.  I laughed all the way through.  I could not devour the pages fast enough.  When I was done, I wanted to read it again.  Such an incredible addition to an already  excellent series.   I give this read a 5/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This ARC copy was given in exchange for an honest review only.

This is the 2nd book in the How To Catch A Star series.  This can be read as a standalone novel.  I recommend reading series books in order for reader enjoyment and understanding. Johnny & Darcy have met before.  She had brushed him off, since she had a boyfriend.  This time, at the taping of a talk show, she needs his help.  He is a true hero. Darcy cannot help but feel responsible.  His helping her nearly ruined him.  Can she let him know how grateful she is for his timing?  When everyone else says to stay away, how do you fight your feelings? This is the 6th book in the Christmas, Colorado series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment and full understanding of characters and the series, I recommend reading these in order. Chloe and Easton have a complicated history.  Everyone assumes she will be a screw up.  Sometimes it is a self fulfilling prophecy. When she moves home after some trouble, she finds herself at odds with family and the community in general. Easton is trying hard not to like her.  He has hated her for so long, that having new feelings for seems strange.  Can they overcome the past and forgive?  The heat that is building between them does not want to be ignored. This series is so much fun to read.  This book had everything we enjoy about this small town.  The story had me laughing, crying, and wishing I lived there.  I cannot wait to read the next installment.  I give this book a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***...

Ethan and Riley meet when she auditions with him to be in his next film.  The chemistry between them is off the charts right from the very moment their eyes meet.  They canot act upon it, as they both have their own reasons. Riley needs this job to prove to herself she can make it as an actress.  She fights the attraction to Ethan.  It disturbs her plans for this film.   They both have been hurt before.  Ethan and Riley agree to be friends and have each other's backs while filming.  There are too many outsiders who want to cause them harm.   I was surprised by this book!  The characters are sizzling hot and it comes right off the page.  The inner turmoil is explained well.  I cannot wait to read the next book in this series.  I give this story a 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This ARC copy was given in exchange for an honest review only.

Mariely and Cabot go to school together.  They also have been humiliated by their significant others on the same night, at the same party.  Would it hurt to try to get over that together? Cabot is stunned and kind of angry that he put up with his girlfriend for so long.  It is actually a relief to be done with her.  Then he runs into Mariely at the coffee shop. Mariely figures she has nothing to lose by pretending to hook up with Cabot.  He is good looking, well liked and going through basically the same thing.  Can they help each other move on? Really sweet story that is just the beginning for these two as a couple.  I love this series and this book fits right in.  The characters have more in common than they thought.  I cannot wait for the next Mariely and Cabot book!  I give this story a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This ARC was given by Netgalley and its publisher for an honest review.

Willa gets her father back only to find out he has been secretly dating a starlet.  Then he is getting married?  And she gets a lying hottie for a stepbrother to go with it.
