Kitty's Book Spot!

This is book #2, in the Snow-Crossed Lovers series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader understanding, and to avoid spoilers, I recommend reading this great series in order. Adam has been avoiding people and places since his injury.  He has been avoiding his girl, and his best friend too.  The adjustment to not being able to compete is nearly killing him.  How do you explain that to those who love you? Piper has her life mapped out.  Only problem is she wants Adam in it.  No other man has made her feel more alive.  The future is within reach now that Adam is home.   This story was so beautiful and sexy!  I love these characters and have been rooting for them since the first book in this amazing series.  The fire that burns with both of them in the room nearly burns everyone around.  I love how the author handled the sensitive subject of the brain injury.  I give this story a 4/5 Kit...

Cliff meets Wes when he delivers a package to his place of business.  Then he proposes a job to Wes.  Can they work together and remain professional? Wes is just trying to make ends meet.  New York can turn away even the hardest of workers.  This chance with Cliff might be just what a lonely man needs. These are strong characters who learn to appreciate what the other has to offer.  I was impressed with the challenges and pace of the story.  This was a good solid read.  I give this book a 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

Daniel & Amy have been best friends for the better part of two decades.  Daniel is ready for the next level of this relationship.  He has a plan.  Now to play it out. Amy has trust issues from her past that she cannot seem to get beyond.  She already trusts Daniel though, right?  Their attraction is heating up.  To take a chance and find happiness.... or walk away for good? This is book # 3 in the Gone Hollywood series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel. For reader understanding and enjoyment I recommend reading this series in order. Jade and Dean meet when he comes to her studio to get his picture taken by her.  She needs help to trick an ex-boyfriend, and Dean comes to her rescue.  Then he gets to know her, and thinks she is making a mistake. Dean cannot help but fall for Jade.  Only she doesn't seem to want forever with anyone but her ungrateful ex.  Can he change her mind before its too late? This story was full of sparks and heat.  The characters banter was so fun.  I enjoyed every page.  I cannot wait to see what the author come up with next!  Great series!  I give this story a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This ARC copy was given by Netgalley and its publishers for an honest review only.

Jason and Leah have not seen one another in a year.  Now when they are working the same event, Jason tried to get Leah to talk to him about what transpired last year.
