Kitty's Book Spot!

Sutton has come back to her hometown after college.  She is trying to start fresh.  Prior to leaving for college she had told the love of her life she wanted him.  He pushed her away, saying she deserved better.  What could be better than the love of your life?  Hoping to move on she comes home to start her business. Grady is told by a local police officer he is going to try to date Sutton when she gets home.  This man is his enemy, and it stirs something inside him.  He would not want any other man to touch his Sutton.  Is she his?  He better do something fast.  It may be too late. Such a tender and sincere story.  I loved every page and read it all at once in one sitting.  No putting this one down.  Lovely story about great odds that must be beaten.  With real love and real hope.  I found this one to be truly inspiring as well as a joy to read.  Some great sexy times too. Hannah has a secret.  She knows James did not recognize her, but she wants to see where it leads before she tells him.  Hopefully the man of her dreams will make them come true. James is frustrated.  Newly divorced from a diva with a capitol D, he wants to relax and find someone who cares about him for him.  Not his money.  He has secrets he is keeping too. When it all hits the fan, these characters are stronger than they know.  If they can keep together and stay strong, it will be a brighter future for them both.  Can they make it past the secrets form their pasts? I found the story to be charming.  Second chances in real life, are rare.  So that makes them all the more special.  I found Natalie's voice to be unexpected.  Very pleasant to listen to with the occasional surprises of accent with the words thrown in.  The story flew by and before I knew it was over.  I give this a 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP! **...

Matt is good at his job.  He also good at playing in his down time.  The only real woman he is interested lately is Samantha.  Now he needs her help or he could lose everything. Samantha wants Matt.  All the time.  She hates that she does, but cannot turn it off.  The sparks between them are strong.  If she agreed to help him, can they build the trust that can bring the joy of a future as well? Maddie has a hot past with Jack.  They are making it also a hot present.  Can she trust a man who has admitted to cheating on her?  Is there a way to meet in the middle?  When her current man breaks her heart  - it is easier to give up then to trust again. This is book #2, in the Wherever You Go series.  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment, and to avoid spoilers, I recommend reading this series in order. Harper and Levi have both sweet and hot history.  All she knows now, is she cannot stop thinking about him.  How he sets her on fire.  The chemistry between them is unreal. Levi wants another chance with Harper and she seems wary of that.  He is consumed with thoughts about her and their time together.  Thanks to mutual friends, they see one another often. Logan has a running joke he tells everyone.  He is mostly straight.  Really.  He experimented in college.  Not long after, he lost his best friend.  When he runs into him again to say he is shocked is putting it mildly.  What he finds out about how the past rolled out shocks him even more. Ellis is excited and scared to see Logan again.  He left him a broken man the last time he saw him.  Can he take a chance and trust what he tells him about his feelings?  He still seems so unsure.  Ellis is scared the past will repeat itself. This is book #4, in the Billionaire Bad Boys series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment and understanding, I recommend reading series books in order. Julian is recovering from hitting the absolute bottom.  He takes the steps to getting better seriously now.  He is trying to make amends where he can. Kendall has her own issues.  While health is important, the heart wants what it wants.  Can she go back to loving the man who makes her heart melt?  Or was the past too much for the new her to  handle? This is the 2nd book in the Only Him series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment, and clear of spoilers, I always recommend reading series stories in order intended. Derek has come home to work out why he cannot move on with his love life.  When he left years ago, it was an impulse and he was racked with pain from rejection.  Coming back is either brave or stupid, but he needs to know. Gio has no idea what to expect.  He has not seen Derek since that time so long ago.  He too, has been struggling with moving on.  Can they get it right this time?  Or is the pain of the past just the foreshadowing of the future?
