Kitty's Book Spot!

Blake starts a new job after thinking life is over as she knows it.  I sometimes think it is this anger that has her pushing through to pay her bills as she begins her new adventure.  She meets a girl at the office who is so jealous of her, it is kind of pathetic. Silas is hot and gives her something to look at.  Man candy if you will.  It just does not seem to help the sheen that is all over this new job.  It is not a good gloss, and it is taking its toll on Blake.  What should she do? I found this book to be funny at times.  I know that many will think it is too funny and just die of laughter.  I stopped laughing about two chapters in, since I found this character kind of pathetic.  I had a hard time pushing myself to finish the story.  Word to the wise - this book has language meant only for adult ears.  I personally think the humor would have come across better without the extra vulgarity, but maybe that is just me....

Daisy & Cole have a history.  They did not part well.  So when the chance comes to both of them to save their respective business, they want to jump on it.  Until they find out it means being together. Cole has pressure coming at him from all sides.  The personal and professional are all blending for the first time.  Daisy makes it all seem so much better.  Can they learn to keep the future bright while the darkness closes in? Such a great start to the fun and sexy  Hoax Series !  I really love these characters and how real they come across.  Their situation is not uncommon.  I felt they were very easy to understand and relate to.  While the story moves along, there is much heat and laughter also.  I give this book a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

This book is #4, in the incredible Oxford series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader understanding and enjoyment, I recommend reading this series in order. From the time Taylor & Nick met, they were like oil and water.  They occasional had to work together.  They had mutual friends.  It was all they could do not to kill one another, some days. Nick has been attracted to Taylor from the very moment they met.  Taylor would claim the same, if forced to do so.  Their timing never seemed to click.  Until one day.... This is the 2nd book in the GearShark series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  However, due to continuation from 1st book as content, I recommend reading this series is order. Trent & Drew have been best friends, now they are struggling to be more.  What's stopping them you ask?  Well for the answer - you must read!  (I am not a spoiler.) Drew's career is just REVving up and about to take off.  Trent is getting finished with his current life, and leaving that behind to start a REVolution.  Can they learn they are stronger together? I absolutely LOVED this book!  I think the series is terrific.  I find this author to be a must buy for my shelves.  You should read and find out why.  Surprises around every corner, sexy scenes, hot men, cool cars, this has something for everyone!  I give this story a 5/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

This series begins with some great characters from another beloved series, #nerd.  Drew & Trent are best friends first.  They share a love of fast cars, sports, and hot bodies.   They also share a secret.  Both of them are attracted to one another.  Only one knows there is more to this friendship than meets the eye.  If he tells the truth, he may lose everything. Will secrets unravel and ruin the friendships they share?  Can accepting ones true self help in accepting others?  What it takes to gain so much more when your scared - is facing the fear and claiming your choice. This book is full of surprises for the reader.  Each chapter unfolding as if a wardrum playing in my head.  You never know what happens at the last beat.  I thoroughly loved each page and I am anxious to read the next book in the series!!  I give this story a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

I had the privilege of reading the 1st issue for GEEKY GAMER  magazine.  I do not normally think a debut copy deserves a rating so high, but I could not help myself!  I just fell in love with the whole thing. I found the visuals and color to be appealing to the extreme.  Very comfortable to read.  The layout was good.  The content covered what I wanted to know.  I asked other gamers what they thought, and was told the only thing they would add was maybe in game tips. Honestly - you should check this out.  The May issue is currently FREE for everyone.  The mag will also be on Kindle Unlimited and so users can find it there also.  I am eagerly awaiting the next issue, as I am sure you soon will be.  I happily give this a 5/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This ARC copy was given in exchange for an honest review only.
