This is book #2, in the Texas Heat series.   This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment, and to avoid spoilers, I recommend reading these in order intended by the author. Hannah returns to her hometown in this story about the holidays and second chances.  She has to meet up with an Ex-fiance' and others who watched her grow up.  It is a little bit of eating humble pie, and a lot of resisting the charms of the only man she has ever loved. Roarke wants the woman he loves back.  Theirs is a story that puts the word complicated to shame.  She thinks he cheated on him, and he was only a victim of someone else's plot.  Can he win her back on the merits of the fact they know one another like no other?
