Kitty's Book Spot!

Ethan and Riley meet when she auditions with him to be in his next film.  The chemistry between them is off the charts right from the very moment their eyes meet.  They canot act upon it, as they both have their own reasons. Riley needs this job to prove to herself she can make it as an actress.  She fights the attraction to Ethan.  It disturbs her plans for this film.   They both have been hurt before.  Ethan and Riley agree to be friends and have each other's backs while filming.  There are too many outsiders who want to cause them harm.   I was surprised by this book!  The characters are sizzling hot and it comes right off the page.  The inner turmoil is explained well.  I cannot wait to read the next book in this series.  I give this story a 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This ARC copy was given in exchange for an honest review only.

This is book # 2 in the Taboo Romance series .  Each book in this series can be read as a standalone novel.  I just recommend you enjoy all the books, since they are such good reads! Aiden met Elizabeth when she became his responsibility.  He is the doctor overseeing her residency at the hospital.  She has high marks, and high hopes.  Both are excited to get started. It does not take long for either one of them to figure out the chemistry between them is off the charts hot!  While it is against the rule, neither one wants to turn down the chance to sate their hunger.  Can they find a way to make a future with all this? These characters are both  so strong!  It was so much fun to read and really hard to put down.  I loved reading about how they will solve the puzzle.  What a great addition to thig series!!  I give this story a 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This ARC copy was given in exchange for an honest review....

This is book # 2 in the Bad Money series .   This book can be read as a standalone novel. I do not recommend doing this, as the author has it in the order intended with a purpose.  This book leads to the next and should be read in order. Kate continues to run the bar.  While being bombarded with men on every turn.  She has Marcus chasing her, Jon trying to not avoid her and the steady Victor just waiting in the background.  For what?  For her to decide she wants a man? All this and Jon has discovered there is more going on at the Police then he first thought.  Can he keep his secrets about Kate and keep his job?  Is it worth it to play the game?  Will anyone win it in the end? So much goes on in this more than dark piece of the puzzle.  I found myself gasping and choking a lot.  This book is not for the fainthearted.  Kate is a tough character and fun to read.  I give this story a 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP...

This is a great start to the Forbidden Fruit series.  Ali Parker always pleases and this book is so hot!   Taboo romances are so much fun to read also. Chloe meets Ian at a club and tries to take him home.  Ian is not going to play that game with her, since he is her bodyguard and he takes his job seriously.  Chloe feels she does not need protection, that her dad does. Ian and Chloe fight what they feel for one another.  It was instant attraction and they get along great.  It's hard when you have to stay professional around someone you hunger for. Chloe tries to ditch Ian, since she is sure she is not what the nut jobs are after.  Ian knows he has to set ground rules.  How do you control a woman who wants nothing to do with you? This is the final piece to the Judged 3 part serial.  I recommend reading in order for the purposes  of understanding the story and reader enjoyment.  Also this series is intended for a mature audience of adults only. The story leads in as we left off from the part two book where Sicily and Drake are not speaking.  Once again, something Sicily said has Drake scrambling from the pain and rejection of feeling judged for his past.  He decides to take a beat and not be around anyone for a while. Sicily, checks in with her roommates and asks for help, since the man she was not sure of just a short time ago is making her want a future and soon.  She had talked to her older brother for advice, and he warned her away.  This in turn caused a fight - since the source she should have gone to for the information should have been Drake. This is  Part 2 of a 3 part Serial.  I recommend reading the Part 1 first, for full understanding and of course, reader enjoyment. Sicily and Drake are still going rounds in this book.  We pick up where we left off with her being investigated for a crime everyone knows she did not commit.  Also, Drake does a little investigating on his own. Drake is continually getting hurt trying to put himself out there and let Sicily know she means everything to him.  Until  his best friend tells him he does not think he has said it the right way. Sicily finally talks with Drake in this story.  They share more about their personal lives as they get to know one another better.  She finally gets bold enough to tell him what she really wants. Sicily and Drake DeMarco have known each other since she moved to town with her two roommates.  Drake is best friend to her BFF's man, Jake.  They see each other all the time. Drake finally gets the nerve to ask Sicily out.  She is not sure that is really what he is doing.  She thinks he is hinting she needs to join his gym for her weight being too high.  He thinks she is perfect and just wants reasons to see her more often. Sicily owns one of the local bakeries in town.  She has gained weight since moving here and opening her shop.  She is concerned for her health, since she had a family member die of a heart attack.
