Kitty's Book Spot!

Walker has a surprise bundle that was not expected. He has not idea what that will do to his life from here on out. He calls in his best friend as an expert for help. Clara has left the mother instinct behind, or so she thought. With helping Walker, she is finding what she wants more than her current life. Should she step up and tell him too? This was such a sweet and sexy story. I do love best friend stories, and this was a delight to read. The characters have a solid connection, lots of sparks with heat, and lives of their own. Parker Braxton AKA "Brax" to his friends, ran literally into Layla.  He thinks she makes the best coffee in the world, and wonders why others cannot do it right like she can.  Now, he feels responsible for her and wants to take care of her.  The attraction he is fighting is killing him.  The sparks are sure flying between them. Layla had no idea that her customer, the famous billionaire himself, knew her name.  When he ran into her - she thought they would both just walk away.  She really does not like others telling her what to do.  She has a dream to get back to. This book starts out with a bang.  You can feel the tension between the MC's and it just builds from there.  Such a great story with a little humor, heat, banter, and tension.  I think it is a good balance and a great read.  I will give this one a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This ARC copy was given in exchange for an honest review by Netgalley and its publisher.

Nick & Tessa met in college and along with one other best friend, started up a now successful business together.  Nick has been waiting for his chance with her, patiently, and now is the time.  Tessa is leaving to start her own business.  She has been in love with Nick for a while now, and it is hard to see him everyday and know he cannot be hers.  Will they take a chance? This short story was a quick and sexy read.  I loved how the characters interacted with one another.  It also made me wonder - will we see more of the Damien?  Really simple and good read.  I give this book a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This copy was given in exchange for an honest review by its publishers.

Isaiah & Victor have a flash of sexy in their past that may come back to bite them.  Isaiah is offering to help Victor stay here in America.  To go home for him would be death.  Isaiah struggles with this, since he is very attracted to Victor and has a hard time staying hands off. Victor is starting to have real feelings for Isaiah.  He finds the many parts of his personality very attractive and knows he is falling for him.  How do you find love when the person you care for has no interest in falling?
