Kitty's Book Spot!

Kennedy has been through tragedy.  On the other side, she goes to her late boyfriends hometown to fulfill his wishes.  She finds a very yummy guy who is the first to turn her on in a long time. Aaron finds Kennedy attractive right from the start.  She is in a fragile place, so he is not sure if getting to know her more is a wise idea.  He just cannot let go of how he feels. These characters have such a vibe right from the start.  The banter is so much fun.  The sexy moments and the heat.... well let's just say it is a nice slow burn.  I found this book to be just a bit slower than I expected, but a fine read all on its own.  I give this a 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This copy was given by Netgalley and its publishers, in exchange for an honest review.

This is the 2nd book in the All About Love series .  This book can be read as a standalone, however, it is so much more when read in the order the author intended. Jace and Shaylene meet in college.  She is driven, outspoken, and feisty.  He is a party guy, player and wants to be an actor.   Shay knows she has to get Jace to the audition on Friday.  She does not want to lose her job, but she has no control over all the bad karma that is happening to her this week.  Shay also has to find a way to keep herself from being attracted to Jace. Jace, wants to live the life of a player, or so he thinks.  He cannot stop himself from being attracted and wanting more from his friendship with his agent.  Shay just flat out does it for him.  What will he do? This was such a fun and unexpected read.  I knew I would laugh, I just did not know how much.  I loved the sweet and sexy times.  The banter is amazing, and the friends...

Liz and Landon have been together the better part of 4 years.  She refers to them as peas and carrots.  They go well together, but there is not a lot of excitement.  They are busy, sometimes ships in the night. Then suddenly, they are laying it on the line and he proposes.  The excitement is back and it it makes Liz want to find a way to keep it!  She wants to be strawberries and whip cream instead of peas and carrots.  And they have it, at least for now. The she says to him how about we wait until our wedding night?  The bet is on.  Whoever does not give in gets the honeymoon they have dreamed of.  Liz is pleased even though she wants to jump Landon.  Then they are busy trying to pay for the wedding, survive the in-laws, and not get evicted.
