Kitty's Book Spot!

Walker is the one who takes care of her family.  She puts her family first, herself last.  Then she helps someone left behind at her family's bar.  It may be something out of the ordinary for her, but she is a good person.  Why is everyone so shocked? Mason is excited to get along with someone who does not know who he is.  His secret is safe, and the chemistry is hot!  Until they get to know one another better, and time is running out to tell her the secret he has kept close to his chest. This was so much more than I thought looking at the cover.  Cute cover though, and I do love me the kitties.  What I found was a story with so much to it I could not put it down!  I loved the heat, the banter, the characters and more.  I really will be reading this author again soon.  I give this read a 5/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This early copy was given in exchange for an honest review, by Netgalley and its publishers.

Adam has seen too much to believe in happily ever after.  He also has a healthy fear of what his best friend will do to him if he touches his sister.  Denying his feelings for her at this point would be foolish, however. This is book #2, in The McClendon Holiday series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment and understanding of the series, I recommend reading in order. Jennifer is suffering from a broken heart and being ashamed.  She travels for a vacation and meets the man who will change her perception of the world, as she knows it.  Will she be able to turn to him when it counts? Simeon falls head over heels for Jennifer almost immediately.  They are certainly attracted to one another from the start.  When tragedy strikes - can he be forgiven? This was a book that was filled with so much.  The compelling story tells of how real and harsh the world can be.  These characters find love in such a beautiful place.  I love the heat and the simple that are in this book.  I cannot wait to read the next installment to the series.  I give this a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This early copy was given in exhcange...

This story is book # 3, in the Checkerberry Inn series.   This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment and understanding, I recommend reading the series in order. Maddie is in desperate need of some help at work, and a date to an event.  They may not go together, but the need for both is increasing.  There is a possibility of hope on these fronts, as long as she plays it right. Cole is desperate for work to fulfill his dream.  He can help Maddie find a date.  They both have pasts and an attraction gaining heat.  Just a leap of faith keeping on track. This is book #2, in the Love In The Wine Country series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For enjoying the series, I recommend reading them in order. Lindsay & Chris have a bit of a past.  When it catches up to them, Chris finds out he has a surprise waiting.  Who knew if it would be a good surprise? Chris has a past that comes back to haunt him.  He also has secrets that may cause more trouble.  Lindsay is shocked he does not remember.
