Kitty's Book Spot!

This book contains two stories about twin brothers.  The 2 authors who wrote them ties the stories together well.  I enjoyed them both.  These books are part of the Uniformly Hot series out by Harlequin Blaze. All Out  by  Tawny Weber : Zane literally runs in to Vivian.  She has always wanted a chance with him.  With all that is going on for both of them right now, will she be given a fair chance to fight for her future? All In  by  Beth Andrews : Xander is also home for his 10 year reunion.  Like his twin, he has been busy away form home.  He wants a chance to win Quinn over.  The bet/challenge is a just an extra incentive to win. I was impressed how these stories meshed so well.  The characters were are all strong, yet all very down to earth.  I loved that both stories had humor, heat, & heart.  So worth it with 2 stories contained inside!  I give this book bundle a 4/5 Kitty'...

This new series starts off with a bang as the  Tate Brothers  learn about what their father expects from his will and other documents.  It sets them all off, as they are SEAL's and don't take what he tells them lightly.  This book is the focus of Sullivan Tate's request. Sullivan AKA "Van"  is a pretty important figure from Chloe's childhood.  So when he tells her the latest news to protect her, is hits her hard.  Already reeling from the loss of her father, the added strain makes her even more vulnerable.  She turns to Van to feel stronger and solve what seems to be the unsolvable. This is already a really exciting series!  I love the characters so much already.  The male lead is totally H-O-T and really alpha.  He seems to be so focused on what needs to be done.  I cannot wait to see them again in later books.  I am also very excited to read the next installment in the  Tate Brothers series .  I giv...

Diego & Harper meet when he moves in next door to recon her home and family.  He learns to love her son.  He is incredibly attracted to her.  Just one problem - he has to solve her ex as a mystery first. Harper knows she has little time for herself, and even less for sex.  When Diego moves in all her nerves come alive and she knows she wants to make time.  She just does not want her heart stomped on again. There are so many words to tell you but I do not do spoilers!  First - really amazing characters with the development right before your eyes.  Second - scene stealer - Her kid is just too fun and really smart.  Lastly - a new series by this great author is always an auto buy for me.  You will never be disappointed.   I give story a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This ARC copy was given in exchange for an honest review.

Aaron & Bryanna meet when she takes a new job as a civilian publicist for the Navy.  He is a SEAL, and his team does not want, nor need to have the public know more than it already does about the special operations team.  When ordered, he has dinner with her to discuss the article. Bryanna knows she did not get this job because she can be blackmailed.  She has to prove herself.  How does she convince the hottest man she ever met that she just wants to do right by his team?  It's going to take meeting each other half way to fix this. This book has actually 2 books inside it.  A SEAL's Proposal & A SEAL's Sacrifice.  While they are each a short story, they both pack a punch and are a joy to read. In A SEAL's Proposal, Sam & Bryanna want a future together.  They have made promises to one another, but Sam has also made another promise.  They must find common ground to see if it can work.  Short story but the feelings are conveyed well.  You can tell these are young kids in love and it makes for a quick read. With A SEAL's Sacrifice, Noah & Gwen have a history he walked away from.  Now, Gwen has a life with a new man.  Can she forgive and forge a new future with a man she cannot seem to let go?  Seriously sexy and sweet.  You feel the honesty in the characters interactions and it pulls you right in. Both stories have so much going for them, I wish they had been a bit longer.  They sure did accomplish quite a bit in so few pages. ...

This book is part of the Uniformly Hot SEAL's series.   This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment and understanding, I recommend reading the series in order.   Christian AKA Laramie and Sammi have history.  He was defending her even when she was younger.  Now, she comes to him for help.  Her fiance' is missing.  She asks Laramie to help find her fiance'. Laramie cannot resist her.  Not even when he tells himself to stay away.  While the sparks ignite and the flame burns closer, Laramie narrows down the missing man who could shatter all they have found. Very hot book!  I found this to be a page turner.  I literally did not want to put it down.  The story is so timeless.  The characters are engaging.  I give this a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This ARC copy was given in exchange for an honest review.

Curt and Dana have become best friends since her husband was killed almost two years ago.  Dana had been married to his best friend, Eric.  Curt has longed for someone like her for himself for a long time.   Dana had no idea that while she was dreaming of Curt, that he was dreaming of her.  She is worried it is too soon, and what would other people think?  Sometimes you just know when you know.
