Ivy has never been able to really count on anyone.  She is finally building a home for herself and her business.  Now with feelings creeping in for someone who will not be staying, she is starting to feel vulnerable again. Kel has issues of trust on his own.  Feeling like Ivy is hiding something is hindering what could be a new relationship for them both.  Can they move beyond the past and create of future together? This was a short and sweet holiday romance.  I found it to be a great read.  The characters were very real, and the pace was really good.  I really fell in love with these main characters and sure hope to see the again.  I give this book a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

Jennifer is suffering from a broken heart and being ashamed.  She travels for a vacation and meets the man who will change her perception of the world, as she knows it.  Will she be able to turn to him when it counts? Kelly & Mark have been best friends for so long. They can finish each other's sentences. They can tell when a relationship is not working. What Kelly cannot seem to notice is their attraction to one another. Mark has been waiting for the right moment to sweep her off her feet. Kelly is always in another city, with another man, or just plain oblivious. Will Mark ever get his chance to be the man Kelly really needs? This was such a great story. Tinka & Sam are neighbors with a common cause.  They are sick of others trying to set them up with people completely unfit for them.  They mean well, but really, who can choose but you for a significant other? Sam is interested right away.  Only he has virtually no experience with which to entice Tinka to be his.  So he goes along with the scheme he unwittingly started out of desperation.  Along the way, they start to feel more real.  If only they could both be on the same page..... This is books 6.5, 8.5, & 10.5 from the Play By Play series .  These books are holiday stories that go with the rest of the series.  They can be read as standalone novels.  For reader enjoyment and understanding, I recommend reading in order. We revisit this amazing 5* series with 3 books in this anthology of holiday goodness.  First up is Elizabeth and Gavin and where the Riley family is and how they are spending the holidays together.  Second is Patrick & Stella and whether he can keep her close.  Last is Tori and a vacation full of surprises. These were fun books to get back into this series with a quick read.  I found that the money is worth it just to even read the first story.  All books are spicy and hot!  There is plenty of sparks flying off these pages.  I give this a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

This is book #4 in The Magister series .  This book is not intended to be a standalone novel.  This is the conclusion for this amazing series, which I recommend you read in order. Sandra & Charles are separated as we get back into their saga in the latest book.  There has been a lot of loss and anger on both sides.  Will they fight for what they care most for? Charles is trying to give her what she needs when he is shown proof Sandra needs him by her side.  When he makes a gesture like a bull in a China shop, can they meet in the middle?  Interesting and important to remember to communicate! Annabella & Jack have been married with kids.  It has been a while since she felt sexy and loved.  The demands of real life take their toll.
