This book is # 8 in The Men of The Zodiac series .   While each book in this series can be read as a standalone novel, it is a lot of fun reading them in order. Ivy met Dean working at the bar where she is spending her time escaping from her father.  In a couple weeks time, she will go home and work at the place he has selected for her.  The bar they are at is in a bad neighborhood, and owned by shady men.  Dean AKA Seth is there to protect Ivy without her knowledge. Seth is struggling with watching over Ivy.  He does not want to have feelings for her.  He owes her father a debt and needs to complete this assignment without flaws.  Only problem?  He is so attracted to her, she is all he sees! Reading this book felt like watching an old movie.  I loved the interaction.  I enjoyed every tease. This is book # 9, in the Men of the Zodiac series.  It can be read as a standalone as books are not interconnected on anything other than they mention the astrological sign inside them.  I just recommend reading the series as a whole, since they are all good book of HOT men and strong women.
