This is book #5, in the Confessions series.   This book can be read as a standalone novel.  To avoid spoilers, since each book builds upon the last - I recommend reading this series in order. Henri comes from a very dark past.  One he wishes to get further away from.  More and more since he has bumped into someone recently at an ex's wedding.  Running into him again, only makes him want him even more. Officer Craig Bailey AKA "Bailey" is shocked at how much he wants a man who ghosts him at every turn.  Can he take the time to have fun with someone when he really never has?  His body yearns, but he is finding his heart is learning to as well. Couple of surprises, couple of twists, and another series book that makes me beg the author for more.  This is just more fascinating characters and visits from our faves also.  I love how it hooks me but now I am almost too excited to read the next installment.  I give this one...

This is the 3rd book in the Rosewood Bay series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment & understanding, and to avoid spoilers, I recommend reading this series in order. Juliette comes to Rosewood Bay to meet the sisters she never knew she had.  She meets Braden right away and they click immediately.  The attraction burns bright on both sides. Braden is tasked to keep tabs on Juliette, and he has no idea how to tell her.  Her father and her past is quickly going to ruin the great start they have.  Braden must convince Juliette that they have a future and its worth it. This was a sexy sweet combo in one book.  A great addition to this  series , the story starts with serious heat that just burns all throughout the book.  I loved the banter and the very real subject matters.  I give this a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This ARC was given in exchange for an honest review only.

Kade has waited a long time to tell someone his feelings.  As he meets his partners family, he cannot help but pour out how he has felt.  With the cloud of danger around them - can they protect their charge and still find love? This author is a must read.  So I did what I always do, and I clicked purchase.  Then I could not put the story down, did not want to make dinner, ring in the new year, nothing!  I just wanted to keep reading this amazing story that just sucked me in.  I turned every page eagerly and when it was over all I wanted was more.  So is there.... more?  In the mean time, I give this great book a 5/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

This is book # 2, in the Legal Heat series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  To avoid spoilers, understand characters, and have more fun with the series, I suggest reading these in order. Roxie AKA Lana has a checkered past full of pain and secrets.  She meets up with James AKA ICE again, and it is like they never parted.  The heat and the sparks surrounding them just burn up the pages! ICE has gained a reputation of not needing anyone.  Being undercover long-term meant no one could know where he was or what he was doing.  He has secrets from the past as well. This book is a scorcher!  I loved the characters interaction.  The supporting best friends were fun and full of humor and were a great add to the story.  This series continues to surprise and delight.  I give this book a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This copy was given in exchange for an honest review only.
