Kitty's Book Spot!

This book contains two stories about twin brothers.  The 2 authors who wrote them ties the stories together well.  I enjoyed them both.  These books are part of the Uniformly Hot series out by Harlequin Blaze. All Out  by  Tawny Weber : Zane literally runs in to Vivian.  She has always wanted a chance with him.  With all that is going on for both of them right now, will she be given a fair chance to fight for her future? All In  by  Beth Andrews : Xander is also home for his 10 year reunion.  Like his twin, he has been busy away form home.  He wants a chance to win Quinn over.  The bet/challenge is a just an extra incentive to win. I was impressed how these stories meshed so well.  The characters were are all strong, yet all very down to earth.  I loved that both stories had humor, heat, & heart.  So worth it with 2 stories contained inside!  I give this book bundle a 4/5 Kitty'...

This is the 14th book in the Uniformly Hot series.  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  I recommend reading series books in order for better understanding.   Sophia & Max meet under less than typical circumstances.  He promised her brother he would look in on her.  She is sick of being babied by another brother or friend. Max just wants to pay his brother in arms back by doing a simple favor.  How did he know the sister he was to check up on was seriously hot?  His attraction aside, she needs him. This was an amazingly hot and sexy story!  I love the banter.  The pages literally sizzle there is so much chemistry.  Really fun read.  Great addition to the series too.  I give this story a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This ARC copy was given in exchange for an honest review.

This book is part of the Uniformly Hot SEAL's series.   This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment and understanding, I recommend reading the series in order.   Christian AKA Laramie and Sammi have history.  He was defending her even when she was younger.  Now, she comes to him for help.  Her fiance' is missing.  She asks Laramie to help find her fiance'. Laramie cannot resist her.  Not even when he tells himself to stay away.  While the sparks ignite and the flame burns closer, Laramie narrows down the missing man who could shatter all they have found. The inside jokes, mentioned relationships, and characters will make more sense if you read the books in the order intended. Plus it is a series about Hot Men!
