Kitty's Book Spot!

This is book #3 in the Harmony Harbor series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment and understanding, I recommend reading this fun series in order. Dana AKA Olivia has hidden her identity to protect more than her money.  She has taken hit after hit emotionally over the last bit.  Just trying to survive takes it toll most days.  Then this man, who reminds her too much of her former husband is so infuriating!  Finn is getting picked on by the whole family to stay.  Like working with Doctors Without Borders is not good enough.  Then there is the matchmaking.  The woman they want him with is not his type.  Or maybe too much his type. This series is full of fun and humor.  Such interesting and quirky characters.  Just overall a fun read.  There were times I wanted to reach into the book and smack the leading man, but hey, that just makes it an interactive book.  I cannot wait ...

This is book #3, in The McNeill Magnates series.  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment and understanding, I recommend reading this series in order. Cameron has already made a mess of proposing to a stranger in the past.  When he meets the real person he thinks he should marry, he wonders, is it for the right reasons?  They are already compatible.  Cannot keep their hands off one another. Maresa is in the middle of so much.  She is the anchor for all around her.  Can she give in to what she wants or needs at the sake of so many others?  Or will being with Cam be the one thing that pulls it all together?  For the sake of her family and her heart she must keep it all together. This series has been just terrific!  My only complaint, was that this book felt rushed somehow.  I love the characters, and really enjoyed the recurring favorites in this title as well.  I sure hope we see more of...

This is book #2, in the Wedding Favors series.   This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader understanding and enjoyment, I recommend reading this amazing series in order. Price &  Kinni know one another through mutual friends.  They seem to have trouble getting along.  When he overhears her promising the bride she will try to have fun, he knows this is the chance to see if she can cut loose. Kinni has had heartache from the past in many ways.  Trust does not come easy to her.  When Price shows he wants to be her friend, she is uncertain whether he can be as good as his word.  The heat between them is growing, and changing the tide. Griffin & Ava have a past as husband and wife.  There is much pain and reminders are everywhere when he returns.  How can he not want the love of his life back? Ava knows how she feels for Griffin.  She also knows there are too many factors keeping them apart.  Can they meet in the middle and conquer the obstacles? Elijah AKA Eli meets Isabella AKA Isa (or Sable) when she comes to work for him as his assistant.  He has fired and sent away all the others she has tried to get him to work with.  A battle torn veteran, he has lost more than his leg. Isa puts up with a lot of attitude from Eli so she can build up her business.  She decides to put herself in as the temporary employee.  The sparks star flying from the moment they meet. When Misty AKA Tessa meets up with officer Stanley AKA Gray, well the sparks are flying!  Literally, as she is being chased by a bad guy.  Gray is more than a hero. Gray sees that Tessa is in need of help, and it is in his nature to come to the rescue.  They both have pasts and secrets that could ruin what may be a bright future. This story is short, sweet, and very nicely done.  Worth the read, and won't take too much of your time.  Strong characters, and well written.  I eagerly await the next book in the One Day Series .  This story is a 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This copy was given in exchange for an honest review only.

Rebecca meets Rex when she runs into him at the airport.  Things get hot very fast between them.  Then, the next time they see one another the sparks fly for multiple reasons. Rex has secrets that he is hiding from everyone.  He has his reasons, but they make for lies and deception all the same.  Rebecca resents that he could not trust her. This is a story about a bride, and her three daughters.  We learn about their relationships with one another, and the men in their lives also.  The wedding will either make them or break them, as large gatherings are known to do. Courtney, Sienna, & Rachel all have their own obstacles to overcome.  Meanwhile, the bride, their mother, is trying to relive her younger dreams with an elaborate wedding.  It is a good thing her future husband is loaded. I really enjoyed this book.  There was so much, from so many perspectives that it took me by surprise.  The characters are all very interesting in their own right.  Each relationship was fascinating to read as it came together.  Good story with several HEA's at the end.  I give this book a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This ARC copy was given by Netgalley and its publisher in exchange for an honest review only.

Merina & Reese meet when she storms his castle, so to speak.  Behind the anger and the insults, there is real and genuine sparks between them.  Merina is so hurt that everyone around her has lied. Reese has a plan that should help both of them get what they want.  If they want to play in between, well he leaves that up to her.  Can they ignore the heat that feels like it is about to ignite? Dane meets Julia when he checks her out singing at a lounge.  He wants to hire her to sing at his new hotel, and offers her a job hard to refuse.  She is thinking it is almost too good an offer and those tend to be bad. Julia is wary, and her best friend talks her into taking it since these offers never come along in most lifetimes.  Dane is warned off her, after admitting she is beautiful to his siblings, and reminded not to mix work with pleasure.
