Bess is new employee working for an established sports agency.  With her birthday coming up, her boss invites her to dinner with some new clients.  She figures it will give her experience, so why not go? Mark AKA "Tank" is excited to be chosen to work with the team in New York.  He was more than pleased to meet such a sexy woman at dinner too.  Maybe they should get to know one another? This was a quick jaunt into the lives of some very talented characters.  I was pleased to get to read their "meet cute."  Right from the beginning they are attracted to each other.  The fact they are intelligent only adds to the attraction.  We see these amazing characters again in the current book Sure Shot.

This is book #4, in the Brooklyn series, & #7, in the Brooklyn Bruisers series.   This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader understanding, and to avoid spoilers, I recommend reading these great series in order. Bess is coming back to live in New York.  She had been here before for a brief time.  Where she met the sexiest man she had ever met.  Now, her plans are her focus.  To build hre business and keep her future on track. This book is #2.5, in the Him series .  This book should not be read as a standalone.  It is best to read these in order and appreciate the goodness that is this incredible series. We go back to the lives of Wes & Jamie.  It is short and sweet but like all stories in the  Him series , it is worth every moment.  Jamie is at a crossroads about to move up in his Coaching job.  Wes is still doing what he does best.  Loving Jamie and making headlines as a star.  Now with their lives ahead of them - the best really is yet to come.  I love every visit we have to  this series.   Was overjoyed to spend time with this amazing couple.  I give this read a 5/5 Kitty's Paws UP! short story   Contemporary   Epic   Sports   Hockey   novella  

This is book #4, in the Man Hands series.   This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment, and to avoid spoilers, I recommend reading these in order intended. Meg met Mac under the funniest of circumstances.  A case of mistaken identity, a sexy cop, and then an emergency.  When they see each other again later it steals the breath from her body. Mac has the hots for Meg.  Has wanted her since the moment they met.  They seem to be good friends, so why not stay that way?  His family makes him do drastic things. This is the best book in the series to me.  I laughed all the way through.  I could not devour the pages fast enough.  When I was done, I wanted to read it again.  Such an incredible addition to an already  excellent series.   I give this read a 5/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This ARC copy was given in exchange for an honest review only.

This was an excellent start to  the new series.   I love visiting the Brooklyn Bruisers, and having some of our favorite characters here was a joy.  I honestly loved this book with the suspense, heat, and banter.  I do not often say this - this was just a fabulous read.  I started off with laughter, and by the time I was tearing up for the characters there was no doubt I was completely hooked!  I cannot wait to read  this series  next installment.  I give this a 5/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ...

May has always crushed on Alec.  Having him return her feelings would be a dream come true.  After a bad breakup, he is the one who rescues her.  With a little luck, she can rescue him back. Alec cannot believe his luck.  Things with May around seem to be much better.  All the pain and grief that was coming his way seems to subside with her around.  With her in his arms - who knows what could happen? Ash is thoroughly disgusted for being attracted to the man who, is basically her nemesis at work.  Rivals competing for each sale dollar, but who cannot resist the physical attraction that seems to consume then whenever they are in the same room together.  If only she could keep her hands, and her lips off of him! Braht and his scheming ways only seem to entice Ash closer - while at the same time give her a reason to pull away from him.  He really does want her in his arms and in his bed.  How to keep a woman who is so determined to stay away? This was such a fun read.  Truly inspiring, by way of the funny schemes the characters come up with to one-up each other, as well as the banter.  There is plenty of hat in this one too, folks.  ...
