Melody has always been in love with her brother's best friend.  When he finally comes home, she has the chance to set her plan in motion.  She is determined to have her chance with him. Adam has seen too much to believe in happily ever after.  He also has a healthy fear of what his best friend will do to him if he touches his sister.  Denying his feelings for her at this point would be foolish, however. Such a cute story with a lot of heat.  I found the couple just charming.  Reading about their story was easy.  Each page turned faster than I remembered and before I knew it - I was done.  I give this book a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This ARC copy was given by Netgalley and its publishers, in exchange for an honest review.

This is book # 5, in the Henderson's Ranch series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  While entertaining, the whole make up of the story and characters will make more sense if read in order with the Nightstalkers series as well. Patrick is learning he loves to be a cowboy.  He had planned to make films, but the best laid plans tend to go awry.  He loves his current job and location.  Now he is falling for someone who may not need him and may not stay. Keane AKA "Ghost" is on his way home when he meets the amazing and alluring Rayne.  The night they spend together is epic, to say the least.  Not knowing when or if they will see on another again is frustrating, but in Ghost's job - it really is better that way. Rayne is totally and completely floored by the way she looks back on her night with Ghost.  He made such an impression on her, she still feels it.  When the worst happens, is him being there a good thing? Completely impressed with the hot topics found in this book and how they are handled.  You feel the tension rise with each page.  Both in the romance, and in the suspense.  Gripping & compelling, this story will have you wishing you had time to read the whole series right now!  I found the characters charming, and the sexy times really HOT!  I cannot wait to read the next installment in the  Delta Force Heroes series .  I give this book a 5/5 Kitty's Paw...

This is the 14th book in the Uniformly Hot series.  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  I recommend reading series books in order for better understanding.   Sophia & Max meet under less than typical circumstances.  He promised her brother he would look in on her.  She is sick of being babied by another brother or friend. Max just wants to pay his brother in arms back by doing a simple favor.  How did he know the sister he was to check up on was seriously hot?  His attraction aside, she needs him. This was an amazingly hot and sexy story!  I love the banter.  The pages literally sizzle there is so much chemistry.  Really fun read.  Great addition to the series too.  I give this story a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This ARC copy was given in exchange for an honest review.

This book is # 3 in the Second Shot series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  In order for the reader to have complete understanding for this relationship story, I recommend reading the series in order.   Dominic and Lily were an item for many years.  He left to serve his country.  He could not wait to get out of what he felt was the small town to no where.  Now, he is back to help Lily.  She no longer wants his help. Lily survived a tragedy that would have ravaged a lesser woman.  She doesn't want Dominic back on these terms.  She wanted him to come to her on his own.  Can they learn from their losses and love again?  Only time will tell... This is the 3rd book in the Cedar Ridge series .   This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment and full understanding, please read in order. Jacob returns like the prodigal son, only to find there is someone right outside his door who would rather be left alone herself.  Sophie has wounds that go deep and keep her from opening up, much like he does.  They truly are a set match.
