Kitty's Book Spot!

Hart came to this ranch as someone else's plaything.  Since his lover left, he has been working hard to make the ranch a money maker that can support all who make it happen.  If only he hadn't fallen for the hard Morgan.  If only he were someone to keep. Morgan has been pining secretly for Hart all along.  Has never thought the fun and cheerful owner would need him beyond the ranch.  With all the murder investigating and surprises going on - will there ever be the right time to tell Hart how he feels? I fell in love with everyone on this ranch.  Well, almost.  When you read you will understand.  This story takes you to all the crazy lows, then lifts you so high you do not think you can come down.  I could not put it down.  I am hoping the author will bring us back here for more characters.  They just seem so charming and sexy.  I give this read a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

This is book #3, in the Cotton Creek series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment and understanding of the series, I recommend reading in order. Adam visits a real dude ranch for research on the new game he and his partners are making.  When he finds himself alone with the owner, Skye, he is glad he has her to himself.  The heat between them sparks right away and they have to decide if they are going to act upon it. Skye is a single mother with a lot going on.  She is proud of the life she has created for her family.  Meeting Adam turns everything upside down, as she is feeling the heat when he is near.   This story was filled with serious sparks flying and jokes flowing.  The lead characters made me a bit crazy as I kind of wanted to knock some sense into them.  I enjoyed the pace, and was pleased with the plot.  I loved all the pop culture jokes as well.  I give this book a 3/5 Kit...

This new series starts off with a bang as the  Tate Brothers  learn about what their father expects from his will and other documents.  It sets them all off, as they are SEAL's and don't take what he tells them lightly.  This book is the focus of Sullivan Tate's request. Sullivan AKA "Van"  is a pretty important figure from Chloe's childhood.  So when he tells her the latest news to protect her, is hits her hard.  Already reeling from the loss of her father, the added strain makes her even more vulnerable.  She turns to Van to feel stronger and solve what seems to be the unsolvable. This is already a really exciting series!  I love the characters so much already.  The male lead is totally H-O-T and really alpha.  He seems to be so focused on what needs to be done.  I cannot wait to see them again in later books.  I am also very excited to read the next installment in the  Tate Brothers series .  I giv...

Damien comes home to the ranch, after military service.  He has to adjust to being home, and all that it entails.  There are just so many changes.... Lexi thought he would never come back.  He seemed to like staying away.  What was once a promise now actually may be a possibility.  Only danger lurks.... This story caught me off guard!  There is action, humor, heat, and more.  I found that there were some character I really liked, and some I just wanted to off myself!  The main characters are easy to root for, only theirs is a more complicated story.  Fun and quick read.  I give this book a 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP!
