Kitty's Book Spot!

This is book is #2, in the Charmed In Texas series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader understanding and enjoyment of the series, I recommend reading this in order. Sullivan AKA Sully has a past with Carmen.  A past that brings him back and thinking of a future.  When she sees him again, however, there are doubts that will happen. Carmen is not big on her hometown.  She has wanted to be long gone.  She has ties here that keep her coming back.  Her friends, family, and yes even her heart.   This series is just hot!  The characters have great banter, and the heat seems to be turned up on high.  I love the sparks that sizzle and nearly jump off the page.  Second chance romance always seems to be hotter than the simple.  I cannot wait for the next book in the series.  I give this story a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This early copy was given in exchange for an honest review, by Ne...

This anthology of books has Dean Brothers & Friend series , books 1-3.   As I usually tell you, I think it is best to read them in order so you have full understanding when you read the next book in line.  This book is a standalone, in the fact it has all 3 stories included. Some Like It Hot,  story for Cary and Nora, is such a sweet story of love and trust.  She does not think someone like him can love someone like her.  He just has to prove it. Playing Doctor , story for Alex and Libby, is a serious look at what can happen with love at first touch.  Can Alex convince Libby he no longer wants to play without her?  Absolute page turner that I could not put down! This is book # 2, in the Game On series .   This book can be read as a standalone novel.  It is certainly more enjoyable to read it in order with the series and will give the reader better understanding of the material given. Jake & Erin have an amazing night.  Then, she tells him what she really thinks about football players and they part ways.  Later, he is injured and his sister, (her best friend) tries to trick them into being together. This is an anthology of 3 books and the start of the Hot @nd Nerdy series .    I always recommend reading series books in order to gain full understanding and enjoyment to the book.  These stories can be read as a standalone novel, as each of them are their own story. While all 3 books are seriously fun reads, I want to concentrate with you to the first book in the anthology, if you please.  This was just a fun and hot story.  I found it a quick and easy read. Layla has a lot to think about and takes a road trip to meet her best friends in Texas, for Spring Break.  Her car breaks down in Georgia, and she meets a hot guy in a bar there.  He wants to help her after she runs into trouble and needs to stay in town a few days. Finn is a former gypsy and trying to figure out what he wants in life.  He figures at this point, that might as well be the game of pool, and a tournament in Las Vegas.  He teaches Layla how to play, and toget...

Mandy meets Jake when he walks into the store where she works.  He is curious and shows excitement for the information she shares.  She finds out at lunch with him, that he is trying to secure a hotel in her small town. Jake is not sure if he wants to stay in this small town due to what he feels for his company, or rather what he feels for Mandy.  He knows that he does not like being away from her.  When they are apart, its all he can do to get back to her fast enough. Mandy has a secret that she has kept from Jake.  She has never kept it from anyone else so she is not sure when the right time to tell him is.  When it is clear she feel something more permanent for him she decides he must know and she needs to figure out how to tell him.
