This is the 2nd book in The Guys Who Got Away series.   This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment and better understand the series, I recommend reading the series in order. Bryn is pleasantly surprised to meet someone with whom eye contact can give her tingles.  Can she take it to the net level?  Can this connection be sustained?  She will find out if its the last things she does. Logan's eye meet the woman who is wanting to buy the same item he is.  If he didn't need this for his daughter, he would happily let go and give in to the instincts that are kicking in.  Sparks that fly between two people like this are rare.  He should know. This is book #4, in the Briar U series.   This can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader understanding, and to avoid spoiler, I recommend reading this series in order. Conor was a typical party guy who loved being a player.  Lately he has found himself being played.  Girls just want to get with him to brag that they caught a hockey player.  He is doubting a lot of things lately. Taylor is being dared yet again by the Sorority Sister who still hates her.  She has just one plan - be honest with Conor on what is going on and hope for the best.  What does she have to lose?   The attraction between the lead characters is obvious right from the start.  I was eagerly reading each page, and not even wanting to stop to eat.  This series has been sexy and fun from the first book! Grant is an amazing police officer.  If only he could translate that to his personal and love life.  His best friend, Lee is able to be fun and get out there.  Why is it so hard to find someone? Lee wants to help his best friend.  He sees Grant as a gentle giant, and wants to help him meet someone worthy of his time and attention.  Lee himself has had issues with finding someone for himself as well.  Can two best friends help each other find true love? This book was funny and charming.  With a little crazy thrown in for good measure. Conrad is in it to win it.  He and a few other gamers are given the chance to get to a convention full of players who enjoy the same game.  His reasons for wanting to win are his own.  The attraction he suddenty feels for another gamer shocks him.  Will he be brave and share some of himself? Alden has always been the one not good enough.  Finally he has a chance to prove he is good at something.  Something for himself.  He puts it all out there for someone who only gives him glimpses of himself.  He too, has his reasons to want to win.  Can they compromise somehow? Felicity has had many hits and they keep on coming.  Her kids are her life.  She lives in a town where her family gathers around them, but they are needy unto themselves.  She wants to stop living in the past and move on. Graham knows he must learn to live in the now.  It is hard when you have a child who cannot seem to forigve you your foibles.  With this new attraction to an old friend, can he discover what it means to make a new family? August is happy being a hedonist.  He enjoys women, and sex and is not ashamed of his hobbies.  Then a surprise blast from the past blows him away with a visit. Archer first comes into Jake's place of business and begs him to sell something unsellable.  There are real consequences to this action, for both of them.  Then realizing they can help one another, they make a new plan that takes them one step closer to the rest of their lives. Shannon is trying to live her best life.  She has overcome weakness, health issues, and has learned to stand on her feet.  Now she is trying to survive college with her overprotective brother hovering nearby. Noah has been in love with Shannon for a while now.  She seems attracted to him as well.  If only he wasn't best friends with her brother.  That is a bond he cannot risk.   This was such an emotional roller coster ride. Axel gets called up to the Sockeyes,  Nothing could prepare him for what happend next.  The only good thing that goes along with it, is how Geneva.  Too bad she's off limits. Geneva is wildly attracted to Axel from the first moment their eyes met.  She can not act on this as it would hurt her brother.  The same brother who is currently her lifeline.
