This story can be found in the Something True series.  The novel can be read as a standalone.  For reader enjoyment, and to avoid spoilers, I recommend reading  The Dating Arrangement  before reading this title. Jack moves back to take over the bar, after his father's death.  He has no idea the surprises coming his way.  Emerson crashes into his life in the literal sense.  He finds that being around her makes everything make sense. Emerson is told repeatedly by family she is not good enough.  She has spent the last year, picking up the pieces of a failed relationship.  Jack helps her out, so she returns the favor at the bar.  Now if they can just get their timing right. This book was such a sexy slow burn.  These characters were so ready for one another and did not even know it.  I loved that reading this story made me laugh, and tear up.  Everything a romance should be.  I cannot wait to read the next installment in the new  Something True series .  I give this read a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This copy was given in exchange for an honest review only.
