Title: Counting Daisies Author: Nicola Haken Genre: MM Romance Release Date:  August 1, 2016       Dylan Roberts and Cameron O’Neil were good kids. Growing up together, they shared everything. By the age of fourteen they were more than best friends – they were in love. They dreamt of their future, of success, marriage…happiness. They were going to grow old by each other’s side. But… “Kids are stupid.” When tragic circumstances forced them apart, Dylan discovered that life wasn’t the fairytale he dreamed of; it was dark, difficult, saturated with pain and shame. Life wasn’t meant to be enjoyed, merely survived, but even that became a challenge. Damaged, worthless, and disgusting, he saw no point to his pitiful existence… Until he came face to face with the boy he used to love. Successful, honourable, and happy, Cameron had achieved the future they planned. He was good, pos...

Only you

Dylan & Cameron grew up together.  They did everything together.  In their teens, they fell in love too.  Growing together was their greatest happiness. Cameron went on to live a pretty good life, without Dylan.  Dylan had found the dark, negative side to life - away from Cameron.  When he saw him again, he was afraid to say anything.   Dylan and Cameron want to find each other again.  How patient can you be to relive a first love?  Can it be rekindled at a later date?  Dylan only wants Cameron.  Nothing maters more. This book was so touching.  So very compelling to read.  I was spellbound.  I hurt when they hurt and I cheered when they triumphed.  I loved every page.  I give this story a 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This ARC was given in exchange for an honest review.

Falling hard

Kaden is shocked to find his partners have hired him a new assistant, Lexie.  She does not take anything from anyone.  If only she didn't make him hot. Lexie is thrilled to have a new job.  She just hopes her past and secrets stay there.  In the past.  Now if she could just forget how hot her boss looked today in a towel.... Either dropping wet or totally dry, these two are hot for each other.  With flirty conversation or totally hot looks, this is a couple who are falling hard.  I enjoyed this book and cannot wait to see what new stories are coming next!  I give this book a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This ARC copy was given in exchange for an honest review.

Stand by you

This is the 3rd book in the Pier 70 series .  The Pier 70 boys are back!   You can read this book as a standalone novel.  It will however, have spoilers from previous books if they were not read in order.  As always, I recommend reading series book in the order intended for reader enjoyment and understanding. Hudson and Teague work together and see each other most every day.  Lately, the tension between the two could be cut with a knife.  Could it be there is more going on in the shop then just repairs? Teague has a hard time trusting.  He also does not believe that anyone could love him.  His own parents didn't.  When Hudson and their friends try to convince him of his worth.... will he take the time to listen? Such a sincere and sweet book with some serious HOT inside!  This is a great story that winds you up and gets you going.  Hudson and Teague are great together!  I give this book a 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ...

Theodore AKA Theo meets James at a club.  Instead of exchanging names and numbers, they hook up.  Then, Theo stars his new job and finds out who James is. James has so much pain and hurt from the past.  From his own mother, he has been rejected and hurt many times.  How do you learn to love others if you have never learned to love yourself? Theo and James get together when the urge strikes them.  What if the urge to give a cuddle comes on?  Theo is usually a guy who is in a relationship.  Being a booty call is new for him. I loved how this book handles the hard subjects.  We learn about mental illness, love, and friendship all in the same story.  It was a terrific read and so hard to put down!  I give this book a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This ARC copy was given in exchange for an honest review.

Unconditional love

This is book # 3 in the Resilient Love series .   This book can be read as a standalone novel.  It is better for reader understanding, and further enjoyment of the book if read in companion with the rest of the series.   Loren and Eliot knew each other from age 6.  They grew up next door from one another.  They did most everything together.  Once in high school, they realize the friendship has grown to something more. For Eliot, stability with his illness is key.  But getting him the correct diagnosis is hard.  Anyone around him finds him fun and silly.  Loren just loves him and wants to be with him.  When tragedy strikes, Loren is lost. This story has so much to it!  I was so pleased with how the mental illnesses are portrayed and told.  I loved the character development and the real feelings that were expressed.  This is a book I wish all could read.  I give this story a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! **...
