Kitty's Book Spot!

Hart came to this ranch as someone else's plaything.  Since his lover left, he has been working hard to make the ranch a money maker that can support all who make it happen.  If only he hadn't fallen for the hard Morgan.  If only he were someone to keep. Morgan has been pining secretly for Hart all along.  Has never thought the fun and cheerful owner would need him beyond the ranch.  With all the murder investigating and surprises going on - will there ever be the right time to tell Hart how he feels? I fell in love with everyone on this ranch.  Well, almost.  When you read you will understand.  This story takes you to all the crazy lows, then lifts you so high you do not think you can come down.  I could not put it down.  I am hoping the author will bring us back here for more characters.  They just seem so charming and sexy.  I give this read a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

This is book #2, in the Maverick Junction series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment and understanding, I recommend reading this great series in order. Ty has a lot on his plate.  His triplet sons were left without a mom when his wife died.  Between that and his ranch, he does not get to change the lonely life he leads.  Meeting Sophie makes him nervous.  He knows he wants her, but he knows what wanting her means.  He also knows what losing someone feels like. Sophie is completely out of her element in Texas.  Chicago, where she calls home is more her speed.  She loves city life.  She does not understand cows.  No one can explain the sudden electricity between her and Ty.  Nor does she want to do anything about it.  Except she does.... Cash hired Annie because he wanted to get to know her, and they needed the help.  He had no idea she would work so hard.  He had no idea who she really was.  When the secrets of their pasts rise to the surface, will there be anything left to salvage? Gotta tell you, this book is a seriously slow burn.  Hotter in part than a Texas sunset, and just as potent.  I appreciated the way the author let us taste this story without overdoing it on the flavors, however.  I can honestly say I cannot wait to sample the next book in the  Maverick Junction  series!  I give this book a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This copy was given in exchange for an honest review only.

Damien comes home to the ranch, after military service.  He has to adjust to being home, and all that it entails.  There are just so many changes.... Lexi thought he would never come back.  He seemed to like staying away.  What was once a promise now actually may be a possibility.  Only danger lurks.... This story caught me off guard!  There is action, humor, heat, and more.  I found that there were some character I really liked, and some I just wanted to off myself!  The main characters are easy to root for, only theirs is a more complicated story.  Fun and quick read.  I give this book a 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

This is book # 3, in the Timing series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment and understanding, I recommend reading the series in order. Glenn is fed up with his family.  He feels like someone is always taunting him.  How he reacts is just a result, right?  Or should he give them another chance? Maclain has wanted Glenn for quite some time.  He feels like the waiting for Glenn to figure them out is going to kill him.  Does he have anymore in him to keep waiting? Such an intense read from start to finish.  This book may be short, but it is full of feels. There is even some seriously hot kissing that may melt your toes.  Very nice addition to the amazing  Timing  series.  I give this story a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!
