Kitty's Book Spot!

Jace meets Trent when his dog introduces them.  He knows there is no future with a hot actor who has no intention of sticking around.  Maybe he just deserves to have a fling with someone that stimulates his senses? Trent has no idea when he goes on vacation that he could meet THE one.  Now he just wants to take all of his time and spend as much as he can together.  What will happen when the time is up? This is a classic slow burn.  You just do not see it coming.  This is a great love story from start to finish.  I sure hope to see more of these amazing characters.  This  serie s is just beginning.  I cannot wait for the next installment.  I give this book a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

This book is technically the 4th book in the series, though it is labeled as book #3 in the  Leaning Into Stories series .   This book can be read as a standalone novel.  To avoid spoilers and have a greater understanding of the series, I recommend reading these books in order. Josh is unsure what he wants to do with his future, now that his current job is complete.  He is trying to work this out as he runs into an ex that he has never really gotten over.  Can he trust his feelings to try again with Finn, even though he is a mess about the rest of his life? Finn never wanted to say goodbye in the past to Josh.  Running into him repeatedly lately feels like fate taking a hand.  Can he convince the skittish man to give him another chance? Leese meets his new charge under less than perfect circumstances.  He can see why she needs protection.  He just wants her to trust he will keep her safe.  Even when it gets ugly. Catalina has been surviving on her own, and does not feel she needs help.  Those that are after her are beyond reach, so what is the point.  Now, some hot time, that she could use.  There is more to this than just security.   This book was an excellent start to a new series!  I loved the characters.  How strong the female lead is, how sassy.  She knows what she wants.  I am surprised the pages did not melt.  The book is HOT!  This author always gives us her best.  I cannot wait to read the next book in the  Body Armor  series .  I give this story a 5/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

This is the 14th book in the Uniformly Hot series.  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  I recommend reading series books in order for better understanding.   Sophia & Max meet under less than typical circumstances.  He promised her brother he would look in on her.  She is sick of being babied by another brother or friend. Max just wants to pay his brother in arms back by doing a simple favor.  How did he know the sister he was to check up on was seriously hot?  His attraction aside, she needs him. This was an amazingly hot and sexy story!  I love the banter.  The pages literally sizzle there is so much chemistry.  Really fun read.  Great addition to the series too.  I give this story a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This ARC copy was given in exchange for an honest review.

Mariely and Cabot go to school together.  They also have been humiliated by their significant others on the same night, at the same party.  Would it hurt to try to get over that together? Cabot is stunned and kind of angry that he put up with his girlfriend for so long.  It is actually a relief to be done with her.  Then he runs into Mariely at the coffee shop. Mariely figures she has nothing to lose by pretending to hook up with Cabot.  He is good looking, well liked and going through basically the same thing.  Can they help each other move on? Really sweet story that is just the beginning for these two as a couple.  I love this series and this book fits right in.  The characters have more in common than they thought.  I cannot wait for the next Mariely and Cabot book!  I give this story a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This ARC was given by Netgalley and its publisher for an honest review.

Spencer takes on Andrew as a client.  He wants to get his former fiance back.  Spencer has a plan that guarantees results.  You may not like the results, but you will have some answers either way.   Andrew finds out more about what his ex has been up to since they parted.  The guy did not even have the courtesy to officially break it off.  Leaving hope where there may not be any.  Spencer intends to find out if there is still a chance for Andrew there. The story moves along at a good pace.  I was impressed with the way there was solutions to find out about the ex and if he still cared.  There was a lot of laughter and fun among the serious.  I give this book a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This ARC copy was given in return for an honest review.
