This book is #7, in the 7 Brides for 7 Blackthornes series.   This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment, and to avoid spoilers, I recommend reading this series in order. Trey meets Mia in Paris, thanks to his mother making herself unavailable.  He is overly tired, overly hungry, and ready to scream.  Then his scheming mother tries again, and he is suddenly wandering the city with a beautiful woman. Mia does not want to be attracted to Trey.  Doing a friend a favor is one thing.  It's totally another when you can't resist and kiss him.  She needs to keep to why she came to Paris and promises she has made. This book was kind of a surprise.  I was eager to get to this one, for both stories that are running through this  series.   I loved the banter.  I found the pace to be nice and careful.  The characters seemed to hit it off right away and that thrilled me.  I was rooting for them by...

Ellie takes the chance to drive a billionaire around.  He could be the key to saving her family's business.  If only she knew how attracted she would be to such a man. Ash is a take no prisoners kind of billionaire.  He says it like it is and his word is his bond.  He is also a special kind of man.  The kind who would fall for a beauty of a driver. This book started out slow and I wondered how it would get there.  Then I got a few chapters in and the pace not only picked up, but the story just about blasted off the page.  I fell for these characters and could not put it down.  I am excited for the next book in the series.  I give this a 5/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This early copy was given in exchange for an honest review, by Netgalley and its publishers.

I felt it all

Jack and Lil met under the most horrific of circumstances.  He saved her life, and she saw him as her heroic angel.  Time and lousy cops pulled them apart.  Now, they meet again in New York under pleasant conditions and both their lives change. Jack is also known as "Mac" the club singer who has his own band and is a player like no other.  Lil fits into his life, because he chooses it.  She is so glad to see him and the friendship blossoms so quickly. Lil is also trying to get rid of her jerk of a boyfriend.  She should have shed him long ago.  Loneliness and an aching wish to be close to someone kept her in his clutches.  Now, with Jack, she wishes to be free to love this amazing rocker who seems to only want her as a friend. I am going to give it to you straight.  I think this book holds in it something for everyone.  It was so nice to feel it all inside of one book.  I laughed, I cried, and I cheered for a couple...
