Crash

This is book #2, in the Men Of Tyee series.   This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader understanding of the series, and to avoid spoilers, I recommend reading these in order. Alisa has been in love with Gage since the day they met.  The attraction was instant, and the heat between them literally melts all who witness.  Her future may not include him, however, since she just found out she will be leaving the country. Gage has had a hard time recently.  He was on the fast track to be recruited, when an accident left him with nerves that are not working toward his goal.  His one good thing in life was Alisa, and she seems so distant. This story moves along at a rapid pace.  There is so much going on.  The heat between the two principles is very steamy and comes quickly off the page.  I love that no matter what they are gravitating toward on another.  I cannot wait to read the next installment in this new ...

This is book #2, in the Arden St Ives series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader understanding, and to avoid spoilers, I recommend reading this series in order. Arden's story continues with his on and off again relationship trial with Caspian.  He puts himself out there in the hopes that he can help heal the coldest of hearts.  While it seems a good patch for a time, there is always the human factor. Caspian does not want to be fixed, nor does he want to come across weak.  His view of Arden trying to keep him close is skewed by those who have claimed to love him before.  This would take all day and a slew of psychoanalysis to try and explain.  For now, we must accept he is not ready to move on. This story was so good and had the upswing going for it.  There was heat, passion, love, and so much more.  I was very pleased to finally see character development in many of the characters involved.  I cannot wa...

Never say never

Simon helps Dan out when he wanders in to his first neighborhood bar.  Moving to England and changed a few things for him, but it is a lot to get used to.  Dan just wants to fit in where he will be living. Dan has moved all the way to England, in the hopes his retirement means something for him getting on with his life.  First person to really turn him on?  Simon, the bartender. As they get to know one another this terribly short story is very sweet and extremely sexy.  I got caught up in the characters just in time for the book to be over.  If I have one complaint, it is that it was too short and I wanted more.  I give this book a 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

Stay away

Image
Tristan and Kat meet when she almost trips right into him.  The sparks are sure flying as this book heats up rather fast.  Kat is trying to finish school away from the States and has settled near her father. Tristan has his own father issues.  His father pushes him to be something he does not want.  Then further enrages him by telling him to stay away from Kat.  Will he concede?  Or will he follow the heat to the fire? Kat and Tristan have chemistry that nearly burns them alive.  It is a book full of stolen and heated moments that are sure to fire up many a cold night for the reader.  I found them fun and charming together.  The book just moved at a pace that felt kind of slow for all the heat it put out.  I give it a 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This ARC copy was given by Netgalley.com and its publisher in exchange for an honest review.
